Great authentic Filipino dishes. Very affordable than other Filipino restaurant. I recommend this place.
THEY BEEN AROUND FOR DECADES, I BEEN IN CALI FOR MORE THAN 30YRS SO FIGURES…THE FOOD IS JUST AS DELICIOUS AS COMFORTING AS ALWAYS HAVE SOOOO YUMMY!
Pers time here, appears tasty enough, we'll see. Grouchy person behind the counter. Difficult parking.
The best place to get traditional bibingka -- a flavorful rice cake roasted on banana leaves. The staff is friendly and food is ready fairly quickly. Note that parking during the weekend could be quite packed due to the flea markets in the area.
Almost all (if not all) their dishes are delicious. The food is always neatly served and/or packed. The staff are also nice and efficient. And the location is convenient.
Always a good experience. With consistent service and food taste.
1 minute read:Originally, Manila Sunset was situated on Sunset Blvd., just about a mile East from Alvarado Street. We enjoy their menu as it is well prepared and delicious. Service is prompt, friendly courteous and reasonalbly priced. I lioke their Toquat baboy: it has fried squares of tofu and port, onion and a delicious sauce. Many other items I need to try. Go by and eat. Thanks.
They are not nice to you and dont explain what certain dishes have. I went for the bbq pork and rice to be safe and it was subpar. They also take too long i had to wait 40 min for that and halo-halo. It was only 10:30 am and it appears that they prioritize orders to go.
I ordered halo halo which was very disappointing (all ice crystals without recados). The fried pork chops what just a so-so but their pancit malabon was better than expected. It's a shame that they don't have restroom for their customers.
