Absolutely Delicious! This was my first visit but not the last. This place is a gem.Food quality, flavors, and taste did not disappoint and surpassed my expectations. Looking forward to the next visit.
My Wife and I have been ordering food online for years. We order once a week, their food is consistently good and their service is excellent. We highly recommend Mandarette Chinese Cafe.
We were trying to find a good Chinese restaurant while in the city. We found this one on Google. The food was ok the service was ok it just seems like they want to take your order and get you out. My husband tried to ask questions regarding a dish and the waiter just walked off. They are not interested in small talk at all.
The best Chinese food in the city. Absolutely delicious and authentic. The staff is great. This is our go to spot. Also, they have incredible homemade ginger ale drinks!
The food and hospitality were fantastic. My group enjoyed the general tso‘s chicken, Szechuan eggplant, egg noodles with beef, fried rice, and various tofu dishes. All of it was tasty, and the entrée portions were large enough for a great deal of leftovers. Definitely give this place a try!
we’ve been eating here for years and the food has been remarkably consistent. it’s also our kids favorite place for takeout. So glad it’s still around. Favorite foods that we order: house noodles, war wonton soup, poached string beans , Salt and pepper tofu, scallion pancakes, orange chicken. We pretty much love everything there! Oh and I forgot about the strawberry shrimp!

I got food poisoning from their food and I was sick for 4 days. I would recommend you take your money and go anywhere else but here. The owner is a real piece of work and refused to refund because of a bad review. I will tell everyone that I know to order from chin chin and not this unsanitary, disgusting place! If the owner had decency a refund would have been issued but he is too cheap and rude for that. If you order chicken over here you wonder what it is that you are eating, it is chewy like rat! Avoid at all cost! Save yourself the same thing that I went through feeling sick for 4 days and throwing up.
Called in the early afternoon regarding an appropriate time to place our to go order for Xmas dinner. They said “anytime before 5”. Called several times just after 4 pm and no one answered the phone. If you can’t staff your restaurant properly on the busiest night of the year, just take your phone off the hook! Ended up placing our order at Wokcano up the street and received much better service and much better food. This is the 2nd year in a row this place has let us down. Won’t be back.
