get the pork bahn mi. Sooooo delicious. Meat is so flavorful and juicy. Plus they stack it full. No skimping in the meat. No skimping on the goodness. FYI has mayo on vegetables.
We’ve eaten from here several times and it was good, but EVERY time they leave out an ingredient on the Build Your Own Pho.The most recent time, the BYO pho (veg broth and shrimp) literally gave one of us food poisoning, sent us to the hospital.
I don’t understand these good reviews. I’ve been there twice and both times it’s been sub-par. They cook the beef to medium well before it even gets mixed with the broth and nothing else stands out as actually decent. Maybe they’re catering to the crowd they think lives around this area? I dunno…to each their own…but I’ll never be back here myself. Give me that red meat that cooks in the broth. Not this ground beef.
I ordered the veggie pho for delivery 2 hours in advance. It still showed up 30 minutes late and it was the most bland veggie pho I've ever had. The tofu and veggies were literally raw. Carrot was just sliced and thrown in. Only giving 2 stars because there was a decent amount of noodles but would not recommend for any vegans and vegetarians.
3 stars because it’s quick and inexpensive, however I was really unimpressed with the quality. First time ordering Pho in LA and I will not be returning here. I got the Pho Traditional Combo. The steak and brisket were dry and super firm. My favorite part is the tendon and they barely put any. The noodles are not soft. If you want good pho this is not the place to go.
My favorite banh mi spot in West LA. Came here on a Saturday to grab their banh mi with grilled pork (my fave). It’s takeout only at this location, and located in a plaza. Street parking available. Credit cards are accepted. Our wait was projected to be 10 minutes, but it came out very quickly. The pork is succulent with a slight sweet flavor. You could eat the banh mi in one sitting if you’re hungry, otherwise, there is enough meat for you to cut the sandwich in half to save for a different meal. There is the standard slaw of cilantro/onions/carrots, and it’s a nice crunchy contrast to the meat. Overall, it’s a good spot to grab a quick, tasty meal.
There's no sit-in. It's take-out only. We ordered pho and egg rolls. Food quality is not bad considering the area. You can get much better food in the Asian communities of course.
Tofu banh mi was bad, sloppy cilantro, bland pickled vegetables, tasteless tofu. Even the jalapeños were sad and brown. Tofu spring rolls also weren’t great and the peanut sauce didn’t make up for anything

I've gotten food from here multiple times. Mainly Uber Eats. I usually get the pork chop combo and I always end up finishing it.
