Just be aware if you’re a walk in, this spot is “The Colony” style setup. It’s a multi restaurant service center in one spot. You order on a kiosk or via QR code on wall and pick up there with up to 20 different restaurants on location. You can mix and match too. They text you to confirm and text you when it’s ready.I ordered main chick hot chick3 piece tenders Medium, Creamy Coleslaw, 1 Leg Quarter, Buttermilk Ranch, MC Sauce. The chicken was just as great as the stand alone “Main Chick” so it’s good to go.This feels more like an order and pick up spot but there is optional indoor or outdoor seating. Feels like a food court style setup in one spot. Also they do sell alcohol too. I’d definitely come back for their other offerings.
We ate here tonight and it was ok but not as good as expected. I ordered a mild chicken and it nearly blew my head off, I wish I had ordered the plain option, my poor husband ordered medium and it did blow his head off, we just didn’t enjoy it. The staff were so helpful as you have to order online and it wouldn’t take our credit card as you can’t pay by cash we had no way of paying so the lady behind the counter paid on her card and we gave her the cash which was lovely of her.
Their mac n' cheese and coleslaw sides are always great. The chicken isn't always consistent with how spicy it is, but the flavor is something to look forward to. They aren't just being spicy with no flavor.
Waited 25 minutes for room temperature food. Sauce and fry topping are yummy but the slaw, chicken and bun are just average. Dave's hot chicken is faster and served hot. Looking forward to trying Redz in the future.
Get the medium spicy chicken sandwich!!! It’s so good and hits the spot just right! Their fries are very well seasoned as well!Would go again!
This was my first time eating at Main Chick and unfortunately, it will be the last. I asked the guy at the counter if they were like Dave’s Hot Chicken & he said, “yeah, but better.” So Ī ordered the chicken sandwich. It was very small, way smaller then what you would get from Dave’s. It was almost as small as a slider. Tasted okay, but a little too sweet for my preference. And it just was meh. Not worth the $6. Kind of on par with Chikfila, but my wife insists the Chikfila is actually better.
This food is incredible, I've never had hot chicken this good before, maybe Holin Rays ties these guys.I forgot to get 2 ranches on the order, which were going to be $1.50. Went back in with the $2 and the guy gave just told me to take them on the house. Needless to say, I threw the $2 in the tip jar and those guys get my hot chicken business for life.Damn, I wonder if I can invest in this company?
It used to be one of my fav fried chicken place in west LA. But I’m disappointed now. I ordered a combo today, one of the chicken is way too salty that I can’t even ate. I have to throw away most of it. Also the size of the dish has been reduced, the taste has been changed since last year.
Chicken Sandwich was pretty good. A little small for the price. The seasoning was on point but the cole slaw on the sandwich wasn’t enough. It’s not a sandwich I’d be crazy to get again but it was still really good.
Better fried chicken than I was expecting to find here in LA. Nothing beats Nashville, but this is close. I had the spiciest dark meat sando, and the spice level was respectable, the chicken still juicy. Plus, everything was well seasoned, and the buns held up really well. Bonus points for the slaw not being mayo-based. Super great deal at $6 for a sandwich. Will definitely get again.
