Somehow all my favorite bands are always playing at Lodge Room. Must be the bookers I guess. There are multiple places to drink during shows — a bar in the show area, a bar in the merch area, and the adjacent Checker Hall (which you can get into if you have a Lodge Room ticket). I love the layout of the space because I can mosh up front or sit back and chill. The sound and levels are always good too.

Nice n quaint venue....inside a cool old brick building right next to a sweet n swanky bar

Great venue for a show!! ANTIBALAS & DOS SANTOS we're FIRE!!

Excellent venue for jazz and other genres. Be advised, every time I've been there the audience is standing. And with standing room only. Always a happy and enthusiastic crowd.

I had a great time at this venue! The entrance is in an alley off 56th and there is a free-after-9pm parking lot across the street. The line to get in can take a little while, so give yourself enough time for that if you want to see a certain band. We didn't allot for that, so we missed all but one song of the opening act. Other than that, every staff member we interacted with was very friendly, from the employee checking vax cards, to the ticket booth attendants, and even the bartender. The venue itself was on the 2nd floor of the building and it has a distinct scent (like old building mixed with body odor). It was a little off-putting, but I was able to look passed that since there was lots of space for everyone and a great view from any point of the room. The sound was pretty good and overall ambiance was great. They have a small area for merch in a busy hallway, which made me a bit claustrophobic so I wasn't able to buy anything because I just needed out. I will definitely be back, I loved the friendliness of the staff and the ease of the venue.

I've only been here a couple of times, but both have been very enjoyable. The stage is big enough to get the job done, and there are plenty of seats for all to enjoy. The stage floor is a pretty good size as well. I've enjoyed screaming out lyrics while jumping on the floor.

Super cool venue. Large dance floor, good size stage and nice architecture. It's large enough so it isn't crowded and small enough to were it feels exclusive or intimate atmosphere.

Came here for the first time last night to see ‘Misa Negra’. Very nice spot to see a show, very classy decor and very intimate. There is a separate bar/dining room apart from the music hall that is super elaborately decorated. Music wasn’t too loud. Parking is easy to find just across the street. Would definitely like to see more bands here.

Came here for a show and it was AWESOME!The music venue was surprisingly spacious and the bands were amazing. The bar was really cool with a DJ playing and a nice little dance floor. The bartenders were all really friendly and made some great drinks.Highly recommended!

Great sound and lighting, lots of room, a slick, tasteful interior, two bars (one in the venue and a larger attached one with a balcony) and occult vibes leftover from the building's history as a Masonic Lodge; what more could you want from a venue?
