Super overrated. Waited on line for about 40 minutes, cool thing is that you can buy pizza while you wait. I wish I had a slice to review that but anyway I didn't know what to expect inside. No one on the line was dressed up, girls had sneakers on, different age groups but definitely on the younger side. Once inside the decor was classy vintage but bartender ignored us for a good 5-6 minutes. When we finally got her attention she wasn't nice, not rude or anything just not friendly or welcoming. Took forever to bring my card back. I definitely got a double shot of tequila to not have to go back and deal with her. Past the bar is the patio area, that was jam packed. I vibed for a bit but dudes were thirsty and you could not dance there, also it wasn't really dancing music more like sing along old school stuff. This place has so much potential but I wouldn't go back to be honest. Also did you know all the clubs close at 2am in cali? We ended up across the street at the taco truck spot and I told the guy to play music and he did! I had more fun there eating tacos and dancing and drinking! Check that place out. :) amazing tacos.

Fun speakeasy lounge with an outdoor patio if you're in the mood to dance. I wish they played more hip hop/pop but the music's pretty good overall. Get there early or come in a smaller group

My personal experience wasn’t a great one due to the shoe policy. This bouncer in particular couldn’t have approached me in a lot positive way. Before he had said anything he was looking at my sandals. I’m restrictive with wearing heels due to my lymphoedema. Luckily my cousin had spare heels so I pretty much wore them just to get into the bar. I couldn’t have easily declined to go in but at the end of the day, it was my last night in LA. I feel Lock and Key need to be understanding with people who cannot wear certain shoes.

The Margherita pie arrived cold, with excessive mozzarella and a awkward dough shape that was tough. Please don’t advertise this as NY style pizza. More like amateur rustic… I’m from the east coast NY / NJ area and this pizza is not NY style. I give it a score of 1 out of 10.

We ordered a Sicilian roasted squash pizza (delivery) and WOW defiantly one of the best pizzas on the west coast. the Sicilian had perfectly crispy edges (like Detroit style) and overall blew our mind.

Food: 3Vibes: 5My bf and I came here (mainly for food haha) bc it's very close to us. We also wanted to check out the vibe.If you want a chill vibe definitely recommend coming early on Sunday nights. They've got a DJ playing old school hip hop and r&b music all night. Such throw backs! Loved it.Entrance: currently only requiring ID to get in. When you walk in, you enter into a room full of doorknobs on the walls. You have to find the right doorknob to open the door to get inside. Super cool concept. You are the key!Food: we ordered pepperoni deep dish pizza and the garlic fries. The food wasn't fresh. The pizza was basically a thick pizza and had no cheese pull (super disappointed). The fries were limp and borderline cold. I understand people don't come here to mainly eat, but still! It should still be warm atleast.Drink: they seem to be pretty popular for their drinks.CINDY LOU WHO - 15Vodka, Cranberry-Almond Syrup, Honey Liqueur, Apple, Lemon, Walnut BittersSTRAWBERRY MULE - 15Vodka, Strawberry, Lime, Mint, House Ginger BeerSHADY SCHEMES - 15Vodka(substituted), Pineapple, Apple, Serrano*I love fruity drinks so these really hit it on the nail. They could be a bit stronger but that's okay.VibeLoved that the eating/drinking was separated from the dance area. The music is blasted throughout. Everyone's just chill and enjoying their time. Loved the music.Previous reviews with feeling unsafe with security guys are alarming and I'd think twice before coming here with a group of girls but it's nice if you're with a guy or a mix group. Will come back with a group!

This place was amazing! Went out on Friday night with my bff for a celebration night before starting a new job. Got here early (around 8pm) because we are old and wanted to beat the crowd. We were greeted by our bartender whose name I unfortunately forgot even though I made sure to ask her before leaving, might've been the drinks... We got a spot right at the bar since we got there early and made our first order. We both started with their Carl Sagan cocktail, I was fantastic! Our bartender was super nice and engaging, told us about being from Trinidad and loving Angostura Bitters, gave us some cocktail making advice (typically speaking, dry vermouth with clear spirits, sweet vermouth with dark spirits) As it got later and the crowd grew, she got into total beast mode. Shaking two cocktails at a time, four mixing glasses getting stirred. It was really amazing to watch a real professional at work. Taking orders, making multiple hand crafted cocktails at once, and still maintaining a cheery and hospitable demeanor. This was my first time experiencing a real cocktail bar and they set the bar incredibly high! I can't wait to go again!

He was very helpful and answered all my questions. The door was even more secure after he had installed the new locks. He was efficient, prompt, and efficient. He also left no mess!

I had been seeing ads for this place for almost a year on my Facebook and thought that it looked amazing. So my boyfriend, daughter and I went last night and believe it or not, it lived up to the hype. I had the elote dog with a watermelon agua Fresca... so so good would most definitely go back.

The wait was terrible, waited 2.5 hrs but it's so lit inside...makes sense. Dj was great, bartender's service was good and she and her server were jammin with us so the vibe is right.
