I come here every so often whenever I'm craving juice or Hong Kong style egg waffles. Both of which are delicious. The waffles are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I like how you can use different fillings (my favorite is kochi and custard). The coffee place is a little messy but has a homey type of feel and has so many different objects and decorations that it inspires interesting topics for conversation.
Their coffee is just unbeatable! They have some pretty unique flavors that you don't see elsewhere. You can't judge them by their store presentation. Not the prettiest and most comfortable place to stay, but they always have great drinks.
My wife and I tried this place after meeting with our lawyer just a few blocks away from here. Initially we just came for the coffee, but ended up getting some chilaquiles as well.We both enjoyed our drinks. My wife got Guji Uraga (Ethiopia) coffee and I got Nitro Oat Milk Latte. My drink was well balanced and smooth. My wife also indicated her coffee was good.Chilaquiles was really tasty, although I would've preferred it with some extra protein like chorizo or chicken like other places. This one just had two sunny eggs.
The barista refunded us and effectively gave us a free drink because she ran out of boba! I'm very happy she did that.

The drink looks photogenic, but needs A LOT of improvements. Not good enough to leave a good review
Their tea is soooo good! You can def taste the quality of the tea. They are really serious about making quality boba, which is really hard to come by here in the US. I tried a lot of their samples and I was impressed by all of them! The rose tea smells and tastes so nice and natural. The royal tea is so rich but smooth. So far, I have ordered the large size twice. I got the chocomisu and oolong milk tea with cloud. Both were wow, especially the oolong milk tea. It’s prob the best oolong milk tea I’ve ever had. The balance between the tea and the milk and the cloud was just perfect. I also highly recommend to order 75% sugar (that’s also what they recommend and I can understand why) even though I usually order 50%.
Got the default bubble tea with boba at 25% sweetness.I definitely liked the flavor of the tea. It has this specific flavor profile I tend to like in black milk teas.BUT, the boba itself was kinda disappointing. At least the ones I got were too chewy (wife said the same thing after she tried it) and meh. I threw out most of the boba (finished the tea). Also the tea wasn't cold throughout. Not super sure why - had to leave it in the fridge for a while after I got home.Oh also the 25% is plenty sweet in my opinion.$6.5 felt a little steep TBH.

Had the one in dtla, this one seems to match the same quality. Will try the cheese tops next time
