The service is superb, kind and courteous waitstaff throughout. But lemon linguine with chicken, $37; a 2oz glass of Basil Hayden, $25.50 (the bottle retails for $25 at the grocery store). The experience wasn't worth $250 plus tip for a lunch for 2. If this were on a rooftop with a view or there was some other grandiose draw, I could rationalize it better, but the restaurant is in the foyer of (albeit historic) a condo building. The prices are about 25% higher than other similar experiences in this area.
brunch with out of town visitors
I ordered the chicken club sandwich. It was cut in fourths and that made if impossible to eat without it falling apart in my hands. It was very messy. Our fries came out luke warm instead of hot. The little gems salad was underwhealming and under dressed. The hostess was nice.
Excellent food and service. Lovely ambiance
Disappointing. Food wasnât good at all. We had to send back a dessert. Not sure why this place has high ratings. Maybe the chef changed or something happened in the kitchen.. but what a disappointment on the food. Escargot were not good. Pizza had no taste. Millefeuille was a joke (send that one back), crème brí»lée was blend, etc⦠I was sooo looking forward to have a good time.
Wow, great surprise! Tuna Tartar was among the best I have ever had
The food was terrible no jam or fig spread on the cheese board, the steak in the steak frites was hardly edible. Was like chewing on rubber. The food was wayyyy over priced. The service was good I think they try to make up for the terrible food in that way. Do NOT come here. You can get a better steak at a chain restaurant
U can hear the street people screaming. Overall great
Birthday celebration
What a bizarre experience. Went with a friend a few weeks ago. Service was completely awful. The waitress said because we came in at 2:45, the cooks donât care because theyâre closing up at 3:00. Also brought the wrong order. Didnât even bring waters to the table until I asked for them. Waitress said she didnât even know I was seated. Avoid if you can. Not worth the hype.
