My (now) husband and I tasted SO many cakes around LA for our intimate garden wedding. Only ONE stood though. Lark's decadent coconut cake with cream cheese frosting. Simple but extremely delicious. Now we can revisit our dreamy wedding cake anytime :D

I got two cupcakes - lemon key lime and a chocolate mousse. The mousse and frosting from the chocolate cupcake were fantastic. The cake itself was too dense, a bit on the hard side, and dry. I did not really enjoy. The lemon key lime had the same issues with texture and consistency. The flavors weren't very strong so it tasted more like a creamy frosting and a flavorless, dense, dry cake base.I'm a big cupcake connoisseur having tried most cupcakeries in the LA area. Would not return and would not recommend. I gave it the two stars because I would volunteer to eat a vat of the chocolate frosting. That is all.I *was initially* excited that the cupcakes were stuffed.. But like the above mentioned issues prevent that fact from being a highlight.

The cupcakes tasted okay. We came here specifically because we love cupcakes with fillings but unfortunately the ones here were very mediocre. The cakes are small and dry, with very little fillings too. It’s not bad but perhaps not the finest ones I’ve had.

The best!!!!!! We ordered a red velvet cake for his 1st birthday. And it was a big hit for all of us. So yummy !! Wil definitely order again ❤️❤️

So disappointed that my birthday cake was awful, stale and on the edge of having mold. I told my husband to pickup my cake here and it was the worst birthday cake.

THE WORST CAKE SHOP WE'VE EVER HAD. Jasmine helped us. We asked for a headphone cake designed by a big named client of ours and they literally plopped on a slanted thin headphone that didn't even look close to a headphone let alone ours for $575. This cake was supposed to be for his birthday and since we couldn't use their cake, our client asked his friend to bake him a cake instead at the last minute. We were all SO embarrassed. They won't even give us a partial refund and we completely lost a big client because of this. They accommodated us with extensions which we had appreciated, thinking they'll give us a great cake in the limited time, but literally, it didn't even look anything as close to a normal headphone, let alone ours, and could've gotten it at a normal bakeshop for $100.THEIR WORK DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THEIR ADVERTISED POSTS ON SOCIAL MEDIA. Please check the pictures I posted on here, the headphones. We had a different cake shop (Cake & Art) we normally go to but after seeing Lark's advertised pictures, our client chose to go with them. If we had known they were not even close to being competent in making a normal headphone design or any sort of design that resembled as their website/ social media, then we would've gone to someone else. And we could've.DONT GO HERE, I RECOMMEND:Cake & Art, The Butter End, Delicious ArtWe are going to seek all actions against them. We were most upset with them falsely advertising and giving false promises including their poor resolution skills. Accommodating our deadline was barely NOT enough to cover the loss we've had due to Lark Cake Shop. So please, Lark Cake Shop, stop using that excuse to cover your mistake and take responsibility.

My goodness I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful and accommodating your employee Kaitlyn was to me and my family. We purchased 3 cakes, that were delicious, absolutely delicious..the cakes, and the outstanding customer service will have us returning for sure!! #kaitlynRocks❤️

I love their cake, so delectable. I requested a cake for my little girl's first bday. At the point when we visited the shop to book our request, they gave us a free taste of the cake and the fillings. It assisted us with settling on the thing would be the filling for our cake. The staff were extremely obliging. Five-star!

I walked into Lark in Silverlake and the cake I was hoping for was sold out - not surprising but I thought I would take a chance. The woman at the counter said if I wanted to order the birthday cake I would have to order online. I asked if we could do that together in store using their computer. The store was empty - it was a Sunday afternoon - but she acted like I was bothering her with my request of ordering it together online. So, I left without the order and deflated by the lame customer service. Last time I will shop here, sadly.
