Love having pizza here! Very different compared to other stores. The crust is great, they have very large slices, and I love the decor inside. They offer outdoor seating. However, the pizza is pricey.

Sometimes I feel like I'm ordering food in a Subway station in New York, while insideBig City energy that gets you in & out? that I can get a slice of NY & still be in Socal!Staff keeps the line movingSuper fast affordableIf there is a wait, there is lots of wall art to eye up & remind you of the big ?.

If you’re going to get pizza by the slice it needs to be hot, fast, and tasty. Lamonica‘s checks all of those boxes and gets bonus points for authenticity. Stepping in here for a slice feels like it could be somewhere in Manhattan (it smells better, the vibe is definitely west coast, and the service is friendly) but the pizza and style is very New York. The traditional New York style slice is what they are known for, but if they have Sicilian available when you get there, and you haven’t tried it before, do yourself that favor and get one. The calzones are delicious too but take about 10-12 minutes to cook, so call ahead if you’re in a hurry.

Out west, one can forget the simple things of a back east pizzeria. When I strolled down Gayley and came upon this eatery, I was drawn in by the smell of a real pizzeria. Flour, tomato sauce, real cheese, thin slices; this is real pizza. The staff was very nice, patient, and explained the menu. The staff even was kind enough to get more chairs for us as we wanted to eat outside and the table only had three chairs. The food did not disappoint. After a normal wait, a greasy, delightful feast landed on the table. The cheese dripped off the hot slices. The pepperonis cooked just right, amplified the sausage cheese. I think the atmosphere and kind attitude of the staff is what made the pizza all the more appealing. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to eating there again.

A decent effort to create an authentic NYC pizza on the West Coast. The crust is the highlight of the slice, and they had a good thinness as well. Cheese overpowered the sauce a lot, but overall a nice experience.

Piping hot NY-style pizza in Westwood. The cheese pull is strong. The crust had an excellent crunch. What more can you ask for? Also, they're open late at night so this is a huge plus for college students living in the Hill or near the Hill. I went with my friend after we turned in a super lengthy project. This pizza was our reward for the night. Not much of a wait time. The only wait time was for them to heat up the pizza in the oven.

Good New York style pizza. It is sold by the slice or whole. There were several options available. We got two meat lovers slices and one Hawaiian. While it wasn’t a life changing experience, it was pretty good. They nailed the NYC subway motif with the tiled walls and other decorations.

Awesome pizza here. This place got it right. For pizza this good they could be charging way more than they do.Give this place a try If you love Pizza

I love the pizza here its perfect. Plus not too pricey. Staff are nice :) thank you

Extremely rude employees, only the female that was there while my family visited was kind and helpful pizza was actually really good but the service from the guys there was a absolutely terrible , my family wanted to dine in and enjoy a pizza there so as I was ordering a pizza my wife put 2 tables together and was told we could not do that due to covid , no biggie there was a table behind us we figured we'd split our party and sit back to back. But nope they told us no that table was broken and instead of offering to simply move the small broken table for another empty one they fist bumped and laughed. Crazy rude
