Our first time here this morning and from the moment we entered we were greeted with smiles from those at the counter as well as the baker! There were so many wonderful choices and we bought several truly authentic French pastries! The Tropézienne framboise was truly delicious and the right amount of sweet - and the lemon meringue tart as well. We will be returning and highly recommend!

Almond Croissant is very tasty. I would love to taste other products. There is no parking space but you can park in the residential area up to 2 hours. French Café on La Brea Blvd.

A classic Parisian style bakery that is a staple in Los Angeles. There are some table set up for dining and the mixed fruit berry tart was reasonably fresh though the blueberries were a little on the soggier side

Horrible experience. The owners left some girl in charge who had no idea what to do; she was on FaceTime with her AirPods in talking when she was helping another client. When I told her we placed an order for pick up she just kind of shrugged her shoulders that the app wasn’t working today. I asked if I could order it from her. Ice coffee, a soda and two baguettes with ham. ‘No the kitchen is closed’ was her answer at 2pm. ‘ The owners are in France so this is all I can do.’

So wonderful , everyone is so nice and helpful !My new neighborhood coffee shop ?❤️ ?? ?

Bad service, ok pastries. We walked in and after looking, we just stood there waiting for help. There was a lady busy doing something on the side, she never acknowledged us and when she finally did she just said "you know what you want?" She didn't even walk in front of us, barely even looked, didn't ask if we wanted a box or not. She just put our stuff on the counter, turned the ipad around and walked away. Not even a thank you.

Best French pastries in LA!!!! Nothing comes close to tasting like this place in the city when it comes to authentic French pastries, not even some of the best bakeries and restaurants around can compete. I’m saying this as a huge dessert connoisseur who is wildly particular. I also patronize all the acclaimed places for sweet treats. Whenever I’ve gifted these desserts to anyone they’ve completely freaked out over them, asked where they’re from and have gone back for more.I just read a review of a guy who said this places lacks flavor and that the pasties taste store bought. All I can say is the guy can’t possibly know quality desserts (or food for that matter) and/or he has a horrible diet and thinks anything with massive amounts of sugar is good. This place doesn’t overdue it on the sugar which I love. The pastries are perfectly sweet and not overloaded with sugar, and the parties have a lighter, fluffier taste. You can taste the quality - their butter and flour is flown in from France. I’ve been here countless times and it always tastes amazing and consistent. Absolutely the best and most authentic French bakery in Los Angeles!!!!

Nice cosy place. Had the opera cake and it was delicious.

The guy behind the counter is extremely rude! He was speaking French with the lady (also behind the counter) and when I tried to ordered, he just laughed in my face for no reason and continue speaking in French. I’m not sure why but that is the first and last time visiting this place. So much for customer service. The coffee tasted nasty too. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Bought a Mont Blanc pastry for my friend's birthday. We found out later it was too dry, as if it was sitting out all day in the display case. This was disappointing because La Tropézienne Bakery on La Brea Ave has always served great desserts in the past.
