Talk about unassuming! We searched for top-rated Filipino eats while in LA and glad we made the drive.Ate Monet was such a sweetheart and brings a warmth to the place. She was super gracious, attentive and such a joy to talk to.The food was FANTASTIC and I swear I could have easily been back home in the Philippines. It was that good. We got Arroz Caldo, Tocilog and Adobo. The interiors were a little tired and needs refreshing but I still loved it nonetheless. We will definitely be back.
Unfortunately saw a couple rats running around the ceiling decorations towards the end of dinner... unfortunate because the food was actually quite good. Be warned, major sanitation issues. We got out of there real quick!
Delicious Filipino Food, with good service in a quaint setting. We had my grandson's christening luncheon here and we were lucky to have a pianist playing such melancholy tunes that made the celebration more memorable. The buchon was so crispy and delicious. We had a good time and lots of food to take home that was good the following day! We had empanada, lumpia shanghai, chicken inasal, lumpia sariwa, tocino, sweet & sour fish fillet, and palabok.
This was the best dining experience I've ever had. We went for my birthday dinner with a few close friends and the owner sat down with us and shared his story while he showed us the best dishes. It felt like we stepped into an uncle's living room and he fed us a warm delicious meal. Some of my friends had never had Filipino food before and this was the most perfect way to introduce them. After that he powered up the karaoke machine and we had an absolute blast. This cafe is something really special.
A delicious spot in LA for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! I love the breakfast burrito but also love coming to get the pesto gnocchi for dinner. They also have a great quick area to just pick up a pastry!
This is the most authentic Filipino restaurant I’ve had in the US so far. If there’s 6-star ratings, I would be rating it 6 stars in a heartbeat. The sinigang tastes exactly like my boyfriend’s mom would make. The palabok is way better than Jolibee’s. Amazing service too. Highly recommend.
This is one of my favorite places to eat.... very tasty fipino food
Ok, so this place is amazing. The food is fresh, delicious and made at the moment. If you like authentic Filipino food this is your place. The hosts are welcoming, kind and make you feel at home. I came here by accident after the restaurant I was originally going to was packed. 100% recommended. I ordered the Buchon and it was amazing.
The food and vibe were good and the staff were friendly. But I think they were very understaffed and the service was extremely slow.. We got there at 1, did not get seated until 1:40, did not get to order until almost 30 mins after getting seated. And the first dish was served about an hour after placing the order. So we were there till past 4 (a bit more than 3 hours for lunch).
Friends brought us here, we had so so so much food, it was very tasty but the service was slow. Kind owner, there was nice live music, the interior is cool and feels like you're dining in someone's living room. Intimate.
