great selection of pastries and drinks. the barista walked me through their signature drinks and what all of them mean. I tried the ham and cheese croissant, which was okay. The tiramisu was great and I loved the oatchata latte!

I’ve walked in here 3 times & today was the last.I was willing to pay $5 for a regular cup of coffee but the service doesn’t add up.The bakery is way too cute for the low customer service. The girls are in the back talking to each other & you literally have to ask for help to get it.

Love coming here to get some coffee and some nice pastries or breakfast items. Love their blended oatchata latte and their blended Oaxaca. Both the Chipotle bacon and egg biscuit and their Ranchero egg and sausage biscuit is so good. If I have to pick, definitely go with the ranchero!! Their pan dulce is small and okay but the price for them is okay for that size. I love coming here, staff are nice and friendly. They know Spanish and English. I love this place more than Starbucks and love how it is owned by Latinos and created this franchise store. Love seeing this place grow and definitely worth getting your coffee here than Starbucks.

Siempre muy amables y mis reguardada

Look for: Lifesaving molletes. They're just ok but still. I mean this is kind of fast, commercialized Mexican. However, the place is pretty and plays good music.I do appreciate all the Dia de Muertos stuff today though! The bread is diverse and ok too. The conchas are pretty good.Suggestion: Please go back to the old café Oaxaca recipe. The new one is truly awful.Service: Very good.Location: A parking nightmare sometimes

Pleasant atmosphere and great service

Monarca use to be a good place, not until they raise their prices ridiculously. Customer service has always been not to good. if you are trying to over price things at least prepare your employees to greet. For example a small Mantecada for 1 PC is $2.00. I will not come back to this place.

We spent more money here on "breakfast" than we did at Denny's, we ordered some "Mexican chocolate" that it was regular powder chocolate with cinnamon, nothing special...the mole con pollo burrito tasted like raw meat and no flavor...the soy chorizo torta, tasted like paper, so was not worth the 28 dlls spent, almost as much as Starbucks and not flavor in the food, but the service was ok

One visit and I'm hooked! Excellent customer service. Best Cafe de Olla I've tried and of course they have the best Polvorones cookies to compliment my coffee. I don't live near by so when I run low on ground coffee, I order online now and have my delivery within a couple of business days! La Monarca is simply awesome...Not only do I enjoy brewing my daily coffee shipped from them but also make my own Champurrado frappe with their mix. I definitely recommend this place.

The best pan dulce del area
