Server was not knowledgeable with their menu, slow to bring drinks from the bar. Salad size forks are not for the meal, ever customer had one or plastic wear. Food to table was slow but their may have been one cook only. Need to have a meeting w the host to get them all on same page and train. 9pm music was excellent! May 2022

I am giving them 3 1/2 stars because service is a little better post pandemic. Our waitress was really sweet. The kitchen lost our food order. Which was super disappointing we had to wait a other 30 minutes and the food was luke warm not good at all. The entertainment was great.

God outing, So happy this business survived, it's been here for any years and didnt disappoint, live music was fun, although you cant dance. Not even 4 min. In walkway, "Dance police" stops you, lol but we had fun

The music awesome the table service for the adult beverages from the bar and food was very slow. However worth the wait when you will need patience. Highly recommended for Blues, R&B and some Jazz

Came with friends on Mother’s Day. I called ahead and they reported it was no wait. When we arrived, There was not a crowd and we were seated instantly; however our waitress was not trained or oriented to the menu, I had to ask several times for a refill on my drink, the food took over an hour to arrive despite the establishment not being busy. Several items (stuffing, yams, chops) were out of stock. When the food arrived my blackened red fish was over cooked, and both the greens and Mac and cheese were dry and under seasoned. My friends said their fried shrimp was good, they enjoyed the étouffée as well. They weren’t too please with black eyed peas that didn’t come with corn bread. I complained to management who didn’t seem too concerned. They remade my fish but I will not be coming back to this establishment.

Food was great However you can only order mostly fried items after 9 p.m.Anything remaining on the menu has to be taken "to go" only....Secondly, the food takes about an hour to receive, but the biggest concern was the service and I mean it was some of the worst!!! As far as timeliness is concerned, We had to wait over 30 minutes to receive our first drinks after we had ordered them and the waitress was hardly anywhere around until the boss came in, IT WAS'N'T EVEN CROWDED (hmmm) so what was going on all that time??? IDK but my wife's beer set up on the counter for the longest by the time she got it it was warm..So I ended up going up to the bar myself and ordering frm tht point on.. no problems after that and I let the boss know.We were not the only ones receiving that experience as well and if it weren't for the music which was really great we would have walked out way earlier. Indoors need a complete makeover

Service was horrible. No one acknowledged us, a party of 5 for 15 minutes. No waitress said hello or acknowledged us at all. We were over charged and a soda is 8.75 at this establishment. That is terrible and do wrong on all level. We asked for water that we never received.

Visiting with a friend in LA and we stopped in for the Live music and the absolutely delicious $1 fried chicken and rice and peas plate. Drinks were good and the musicians were phenomenal. My 2nd time there and I would definitely return.

The music was awesome! The waitress and hostess was absolutely terrible every time I kept asking for a soda they would bring it to me because I don't drink!

I went in a party of 3 people, we waited 20 minutes to get greeted by a server, and another 10 to get our waters. We have been waiting for a total of an hour and a half and we have yet to receive our food. Don’t get me wrong, it is Fat Tuesday and the bar is busy, but they did not put much effort in serving the dining area. I would not recommend this place.
