Expensive, nasty and bad customer service.. had banana pudding sitting out in the sun at the Juneteenth festival in Long Beach. Owner has bad customer service and his desserts are not even good. Peach cobbler bland as hell crust hard. Banana “pudding” tasted like cinnamon pudding and the sweet potato pie literally tasted like pie crust and with cinnamon filling. Nasty all 3 I tossed them all in the trash. Waste of 20 dollars

Wow!!! Talk about poor customer service and behaving badly. I wish there was a way to give this business zero stars. On Sunday June 5th while enjoying a great day of Jazz at the Newport Beach Jazz Festival, my husband and I decided to try a banana pudding as advertised on the display banner. The line was moving quickly so when it was our turn I asked who I assumed was the owner if there was any banana pudding. He rudely replied, 'If you don't see it we don't have it! Now tag lines are great but in this case it was neither cute nor professional and came off as rude and condescending. As a business owner it never ceases to amaze me the level of bad customer service that seems to run rampant with small businesses. Unacceptable...since my question was a reasonable one due in part to many small tart like cakes covered in plastic and some were unrecognizable. I also plan to provide feedback to the promoter. Buyer beware. Skip the Cobbler King and patronize businesses that appreciate your business...he could care less...he said as much.

I was craving my favorite peach cobbler, so my husband surprised me and brought one. I totally disappointed the crust was so thick and tough. Love them because the cobbler are not over sweeten but this one was has sugar or seasoning (cinnamon or nutmeg. For $18.00 I expected the that old fashioned favor it use to have. I was truly disappointed.

I was visiting Los Angeles and a friend recommended this place. I was hoping for a great experience, but I was disappointed by the uncleanliness of the place along with the service. John seemed annoyed when I asked him when was the last time the items were cooked and how the items been sitting out. At any rate, I purchased a pecan pie and blueberry cobbler and it wasn’t anything to run home and tell your mother about. I was expecting a mouth watering experience being that John stated “we’ve been in busy for 30 years”, did not meet my expectations.

Best cobbler in town!

his as is rude as he never has supply on holidays like he claims too cheap to hire more people and prepare properly

I Remember when this Brother was first starting out! He was a vendor at my Grocery-store Albertsons’s on Crenshaw& King. I was the Backup Receiver & would bring in his order multiple times a week. This guy was dedicated. He would wear is product!!!!

Heard about this place after researching the best peach cobbler. Instead I received awful treatment and was told to hurry up and order because he was on the phone. I knew what I wanted I was just trying to wait on dude to get off the phone so I didn’t interrupt him. He acted like I was wasting his time, when I was just a first time customer hoping to try some delicious peach cobbler! We drove 30 minutes to get there so I purchased an $18 medium ANYWAY— but was so disgusted and hurt by my treatment I didn’t even eat the cobbler. Disappointing, rude, won’t be back.

Worst customer service ever. I’ve been here twice (this was my second time). The man with the bald head ALWAYS acts like you are Inconveniencing him even though you are the customer. Additionally, he always is on the phone when you are trying to tellHim what you want. If this business wants to upgrade itself FIRE or re-training this man on appropriate customer service. On the food side of things , the peach cobbler was ok but their mixed berry cobbler was god awful. It tasted as if eating a bag full of salt. If you want good cobbler make your way down to the Cobbler factory in Pasadena.
