Great way to experience Mediterranean in LA.Always excellent and fresh.Have eaten here for lunch during work for ten years. Always solid. Nice variety of flavors. I like the Vegetarian Combo but the meat is definitely very tasty.
We were looking at the menu posted on the window outside and the owner came out to greet us. He was very friendly and offered our family some falafel samples which were really fresh and tasty. We ordered lamb gyro, beef kebab wrap, and kids meals and were super happy with the food we ordered! The meat was SO delicious!! Everything tasted so good! We will definitely go there again!
I went here on my lunch break last week, after a friend had recommended it to me. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by Joe himself and asked if it was my first time there. Since it was, he offered me a sample of falafel (such a great touch!), and helped me decide what to order. I got the Falafel Plate and took it to go. It was far and away the best falafel I’ve ever had. Crispy, warm, flavorful, and the perfect density. The hummus and pita that came with my plate were delicious as well. I really enjoyed my first meal here and am excited to make this a regular stop :)All of the people who work here were very friendly and kind too.Thank you, Joe!
I stood there and watched this man touch everything with his hands and never washed them. He talked to customer, touched the counters and did everything you should do with your hands. He did not wear any gloves at all. He touched food and didn’t not wear gloves nor wash his hands. He has to be the owner because no real employer would have this rude grumpy guy working their counter. Also they do not have Tzatziki sauce even thou it’s an option online
This place is the best. I make the trip from Pasadena to eat here because the chicken kabobs are the best I’ve ever had. The falafel is also the best. Every time we eat there we hear comments on how great the food is from other diners. The owners and his staff are always friendly and appreciative. Do yourself a favor try Joe’s Falafel once and you will be back.
We live in NY but travel to LA several times a year for kids. We hit Joe's two weeks ago and was as excellent as always. I would challenge you to find tastier falafel, chicken shawarma , lafa, tabouleh, etc. The owners are friendly and the restaurant is spotless. I shared that I have tried making chicken shawarma at home and promptly received several tips AND a bag of spices. Made the dish last night....the one thing missing was the lafa bread. If nothing else, get the warm lafa bread. Highly recommend Joe's.
Absolutely incredible experience for my kids! They got to watch make the bread. The food was delicious,fast,and fresh!! Joe is a delight. My kids and I want Falafel every day now ❤️? They enjoyed the beef skewers & I loved the lemon chicken. So yummy and healthy. Thank you Joe

Had the best Falafel wrap here. We were served with freshly baked pita wrap. The owner was very kind and welcoming even though we reached at closing time.
Amazingly fresh and delicious!! Made to order including the pita!! Fresh out of the oven. You must try Joe's Falafel! Visiting from Mississippi and it beats BBQ!! ???
