This place is our family’s favorite Korean restaurant. And I started to visit there around a year ago. But I think the quality of service is getting better ( really kind servers) compared with before. I went to there last Friday and at the parking lot there was a security guard who welcomed us with smile made the place even much better that I would love to be there more frequently. Food is important but the kindness and service are evenly crucial matters.
Came here for lunch with my mom And sister on a Saturday And it was really busy! We sat outside, which was nice, also parking is free in the lot. We ordered the gukbap, cold noodles chicken combo and the leek pancake. The cold noodles were ? the soup was a little sweet but in a good way, and the noodles were chewy. The spicy chicken that came with it was grilled really well too, and the leek pancake is awesome! It has very little batter which I like and small bits of octopus in it. I think the gukbap was good , The soup is really rich and creamy but it’s a little bland, but when you eat it with the garlicky kimchi on the side it is delicious! Would definitely come again
My new favorite soup place. We had the jeju pork noodles and pork soup and it was rich in flavor and they gave generous amounts of meat! The servers were very busy so we had to flag them down a few times for chopsticks and water but they were working so hard and that doesn't really bother me. The food was well worth it and the restaurant is gorgeous. Easy free parking out back was also a huge plus.
This place is a hidden jem of high quality pork goodness and banchan deliciousness. Keep the Banchan coming!!! Get the scallion pancake, BBQ Pork Ribs and Large boiled pork. That should fill your belly joy and put a smile on your face. ⛔WARNING: Make sure you put the salty baby shrimp in your soup bowl that is served with the boiled pork and the scallions. Order more pickled jalapenos, and a plate of fresh white onion and fresh jalapenos they all pair nicely with everything especially the Best BBQ Pork Ribs in LA and the Best Boiled pork in LA.⛔ He, Him They, It, Me, You, She, Her, We, Us, Thing, X, Y and Z's are all welcome.
Pork soup was great. The sides were great. However, Galbi (Kalbi) was not so great. The meat was served fully cooked. It was a bit cold and it was mostly fat. Considering the price, it should have been better. The service wasn’t really good either. The server tried to serve someone who came later than us and the customer told her that we came first. ?♀️ We got only one cup of water at the beginning and no server came to give us another. She finally came to our table to give us the bill. I asked her and could finally get another cup of water after I paid for the dinner.
Came here on a Saturday and there was a long wait to get seated, but this place is worth the wait. Most popular dishes include the Pork soup w/ Rice(pictured on the side with leek pancakes) and the Beef soup with shredded beef brisket (spice level medium hot).Parking lot in the rear as well.
They have a beautifully lit up store internally, and the soups were nice and filling. Definitely didn’t expect the portion order especially when I saw it arrive to my table ?
Pork soup rice and kalbi was good. The wait to be seated or get your food can be quite long so be prepared for that especially if you're parked at a 1hr meter
Easy to miss restaurant and very small parking lot in the back. With every restaurant in Los Angeles, just make sure you have your vaccination proof and ID ready once you enter the restaurant because they will ask for verification. My friend and I decided to try this restaurant thanks to an Instagram post she saw online. When we got here, there wasn't any wait even though the restaurant was still busy at that time.Pork Soup W/ Rice: great pork flavor and you can really smell and taste it. It's quite different than what you'd get from Han Bat since the broth is made with pork, instead of beef.Busan Bibim Dangmyeon: tasted like japchae to me but with a little different ingredients. Sweet and decadent on your first bite.Leek Pancake: if you love a stinky breath, it'll definitely leave a lingering smell after you eat it. The pancake is nicely pan fried and pairs well with the sauce they provide.Spicy Pork Ribs: generous amount of meat but the flavor was lacking. I'm a huge fan of Ham Ji Park's spicy pork ribs and I had high hopes with this dish. My advice would be for them to apply more generous amount of sauce to the ribs because it tasted dry.Overall, I would come back and try other dishes because this spot seems popular and great for our rare fall/winter weather in LA.
Delicious! Better to go w someone who speaks Korean
