The sandwiches are very good. Even the ones I’ve had that weren’t my favorite were still very good & had unique combinations. If I was only reviewing the food it would be a 4.5 stars. But the service is very off, and it feels like the are only friendly/ accommodating to gentrifier types since I have seen the cashier smile & seem pleasant to others who fit that profile. Whenever I go in he get a sneer on his face & I have had other friends of mine go in without me & heard the same thing back. Very unfriendly and all around unpleasant. Bomb sandwiches but I hope they realize that when you move into a transitioning neighborhood you gotta accommodate the natives too, not just the new yuppies that they obviously cater to
The sandwiches were delicious!I will know to check the app to see if there is a no/ different mustard option if we go back. Also, when we got there, we weren't familiar with the ordering process, and the man who spoke to us from behind the counter was quite curt with us. It is located inside a liquor store, in the back, so perhaps we were interrupting his business? (There were no other customers inside until after we asked) Orders are placed on a table up front to be picked up, so it is fairly contactless. After the man spoke with us, curtly again when we came back to pick up our order and asked another question, we opted not to purchase any items in addition to our order, since we would have needed for him to ring them up.
Amazing little shop - went with the Jeff special for my first time and can’t wait to go back to work my way through the list. In addition to some great sandwiches they have a selection of sodas and beers, most of them being smaller companies! Can’t go wrong here.

Amazing sandwiches. We got the Dirty Baby and Jeff’s pastrami. Due to Covid restrictions, you order via QR code outside and pick up inside the liquor store.
People who gave this place 5 stars must've never had good sandwiches in their lifetime. Absolutely the worst sandwiches ever! You'll be wasting your money here
I’ve come to understand this place has good sandwiches, my contention is with the service. They only allow ordering ahead through a specific app (only app they use) The app wouldn’t work despite multiple payment methods. We called to inquire about ordering over the phone and explained the error the app was giving us. It turned out to be on the apps end but the person over the phone said to try again in a few minutes and wouldn’t take any orders. We went to the place next door which was amazing.
The fact that this place has 4.3 stars is a crime against good taste
