I felt compelled to share my first experience with Jackfruit Cafe, which really deserves a rating of 10+. My daughter, however has followed Jackfruit since she was on Crenshaw and has spoken very highly of her and the food.So - I decided to give them a try. I called to find out if they deliver. Angela, the owner answered; she took the time to share soooo much helpful information about transitioning from meat to a plant based eating life style. Ordered on their user friendly website. Text message received confirming receipt, followed by delivery status; delivery was fast, food was hot and delicious. Amazing!! Will definitely be ordering again and will follow her suggestions.Angela, thank you from the depths of my heart for being the caring individual that you are about our health and the benefits of eliminating meat from our diet. Jackfruit Cafe serves the most delicious vegan tacos I've ever tasted! The menu looks so good that I really need a sampler plate. It's hard to decide. And the hospitality is top notch. I prefer, Hi Felicia!?
Just plated the most delicious soul food bowl for lunch!! Delish favors. Not too greasy. Collard greens cooked well.Would recommend and order again!!Asked for jerk sauce but didn’t get any. Still great! Cornbread amazing.
Jackfruit Cafe is my favorite vegan restaurant in all of LA! Fantastic food, always creative and flavorful. Angela is the best! I also love how they're always changing the menu to experiment with new amazing food. 1000/10!!!
I'm a foodie so if you are reading this, trust what I am saying. First and foremost, I had the soul bowl for the very first time. The food is vegan but it did not disappoint when it came to the seasoning. I am beyond impressed the black eyed peas were so good. The jackfruit was great also. Highly recommended. I always received great customer service once I arrived. That always means a lot to me. I'll be back soon.
My first time at their new location. They’re located at grand depot near usc door 12I stopped by The other day and my visit was just as great as the other times the owner Angela is very sweet and knowledgeable and generous I had the pleasure of speaking with her she has such a huge passion for creating great delicious food. My friends and I tried a few different things from the menu my friend got the Soul bowl which has collard greens plantains, corn bread, jackfruit & Mac & cheese so delicious!I had the Quorn patty with fries which was delicious and filling. I definitely recommend this spot.They have a variety of food & It’s healthy filling and the customer service is amazing I will definitely be back soon
