Very attentive staff serving affordable varietals of quite tasty dim sum, including vegan! Plus outdoor ambience fantastic - high fence to isolate you from Venice Blvd., pretty with the foliage, tiki lamps to keep you warm. Definitely worth visiting!
Most all was delicious. I asked about one that I thought was fried too much, the waitress, Janet, was nice enough to bring me a 2nd portion which was fried a little less and tasted a bit better. The pan or grill taste over powered the delicate taste of the turnip cake. All in all a cute place and the food robot added a whimsical touch. Will go back!
We ate the Iron Teapot for lunch. It's a small restaurant in Culver City but easy to find. Parking on the street is challenging, They have a fairly extensive menu of various types of dumplings, steamed, fried, and baked. We ordered 5-6 different dumplings, all of which were well made and tasty. I would highly recommend the Iron Teacup Dim Sum & Bar.
Cute spot but nothing out of the ordinary to be honest other than paying for the area. Too Pricey for the amount you get. Food was just ok. Dim sum didn’t even have broth in it and we go all over for dim sum so was disappointed for that as we expected better. Also never been to a Chinese restaurant that didn’t serve any type of rice before so that was new and my friends dad who is Chinese looked perplexed ! It’s not a bad place if you’re in the area and don’t mind if you just want to say “yah I tried it” ..

Very helpful server, cute robot runners and delicious food! My only complaint was the stinky exhaust on occasion from racing drivers as the patio is in the front of the restaurant but they’ve done everything to make it an inviting space and minimize the fact that it’s so close to the street. It was a good experience and I would recommend.
Horrible experience. From not being acknowledged for 10 minutes after arriving to food coming at a trickle first, then all at once (fort dim sum...) to the worst possible soup dumplings ever (one set undercooked, the other one tasting floury) topped by a $250 check for lunch for 4. Will not be back
I didn’t like the online ordering system. I prefer taking to a person and ordering. The food was subpar. Soup dumplings” had no soup Inside
Service was dreadfully slow. Food was ok, half the dumplings seemed over cooked.
it was fun having robots serve our food, which was very good.
