We needed a hotel for the night for our layover in LA. The hotel is within walking distance of the airport (it’s a straight shot from the baggage claim level, ignore your GPS if it takes you up Sky Way). The room was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful.
We arrived from an overseas flight and although the website says that the shuttle picks up at each terminal, when we called they said only at 5 and 7. Understandable given the catastrophic traffic at LAX. Thought the shuttle was relatively fast and efficient once we found the get on spots. The hotel was overrun with wedding guests and staff told us that it would be long waits to for food (even in room dining) so we picked up sandwich from the Subway a few blocks away. The hotel is extremely noisy with thin walls. Highly recommend earplugs to anyone who visits. Hollering and yelling and loud voices are heard throughout the night. Other than that, the room was clean, the buffet for breakfast surprisingly good (I am a Globalist) and the trip back to the airport via shuttle was great. Unfortunately I don't think I would stay here again because of the inconvenience with the food and noise.
I recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Los Angeles. Staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The hotel is conveniently located close to LAX. So the shuttle was a quick ride. Plenty of shuttle since it also double md as a remote parking.
The hotel is beautiful. Everyone was very helpful. As a single woman staying in this hotel I felt very safe. The rooms were clean and nice. The food was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay again in this hotel
Usually the service is seamless and the rooms are clean with everything working.. However recently there are problems at late evening check in where World of Hyatt expedited check in is not available. I have had to wait in line behind people with complex problems who take more than a half hour to finish their business while my check in takes 2 minutes at most. As a tired traveler with only a few hours to sleep before getting back to the airport, this is upsetting. On this visit the room was not as clean as usual and the phone was not working.
We stayed here before my flight out of LAX. The room was extremely quiet. We could not hear any planes or road noise. I was not yet a Hyatt Explorist at the time, so I was not offered any upgrades on my room as someone who just used Chase Ultimate Rewards to transfer over my points. We also checked in late at night, and they offered us water at check-in.
Note: if walking from LAX to this hotel, Google Maps wants to route you on an unnecessary 15 minute loop. Just walk from the LA*Xit taxi & rideshare are directly towards the hotel and it's only a block or two away. Hotel was very quiet; I couldn't hear any plane traffic.
The rooms are simple but modern and well designed. I liked the many outlets (still all too rare in many places) and the continuous LAX shuttle. Decent breakfast. Friendly staff. A well run hotel close to downtown and the airport.
Very clean hotel. Nice for travel connections. Shuttle ruins continuously. Shettle driver very helpful. Very quich check in. Check out. Maybe could better organize grab and go food items. Menus hard to find but overall a very pleasant stay
Hotel/room was nice. Valet Always on point. Not pleased with some of the front desk staff. Not friendly at check in but pleasant at check out. Took three tries for extra towels but snack bar staff were always nice!!
