Stopped in here after a long flight from Australia and was pleasantly surprised. We got the chicken burrito, brisket burrito and Picca burrito. The chicken was the stand out from the bunch, however I wouldn’t recommend getting the picca burrito. Seems like an acquired taste. I really wanted the cookie milk coffee, however it was all sold out. Good selection of desserts and treats also. Would come back
I love HomeState. As a Texas gal, when I’m craving a bit of home or generally need a breakfast taco that’s gonna hit, HomeState is my go-to. All the tacos are great. You can order at the counter and eat in or order online / the app and pick up on your way to somewhere. I like to order on the app and pick up on my way to work. The parking is a bit stressful, tbh, especially if you’re just picking up, but there is a parking garage across the way if you’re eating in.
We were at a birthday party that had their breakfast tacos. Everyone from babies to elder adults were enjoying the tacos. Individually wrapped so Covid friendly. It’s like you can’t go wrong with home state when you’re trying to please a group. We booked them for our own party - pre-ordered with the catering side - and it was so easy to set up online. There was a fair amount of customization available and the customer service was incredible. I really recommend them for both the taste of their food and the ease they add to putting together a gathering.
Got some breakfast tacos and some lunch tacos and all were delish. Definitely thought the homemade flour tortillas were better than the corn, as the corn tended to break apart more easily. Queso is yummy and chips are refillable. While everything had good flavor we'd have preferred a bit more spice. Their salsas just didn't provide enough of a boost for half our party. Plenty of outdoor tables. Would return.
Got the two tacos with flour, texas and trinnity I believe and they were so delicious. The salsa is so good !
Tacos are really great. Especially the breakfast tacos. Could use a few more Vegan options on the menu.
The first time we ate at this chain we loved it so much we had to get it again. It has so many great options for different Travis and breakfast or lunch or anytime food. I recommend getting the large queso with chips and then you can add it into any of the food you get. The Trinity was a fav with us for breakfast. Great flavor and filled with bacon eggs, potatoes and cheese. Delicious. We also tried the brisket taco which I loved, and then a few others. You really can't go wrong. Try them all. This location was very modern and had a great vibe. You could hang out in this area and enjoy your afternoon. Very clean and those who served us were friendly. Bathrooms located in the building if you eat here, and they offer cups of water or other drinks for purchase. Definitely my new favorite place.
Great place to eat breakfast tacos. I don’t think there is anywhere better you can go for lunch or breakfast.I don’t agree with the fact that they are having you be vaccinated even if you’re eating outside. That is just a company policy and not a govnmt policy. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional, but the policy on vaccination needs to go for a full 5 star review
Good food and service. Parking really SUCKS.Which might be good because I'd eat here more.Very limited street parking during week and structures are $$ w no validation.
Amazing Tex-mex style tacos. I’m a meat eater and the potato one is my favorite.
