Oldest working bowling alley in Southern California, and such a beauty too! Would be a perfect place for a party. Food and drinks were delicious, and all you can eat?

Not just a bowling alley. Its a stunning engineering throw back to the 20s. A stunningly beautiful venue... That you can also bowl at.

Awesome hipster vibe. Nice servers and everything is SO old. It even smells old in here!

My husband and I were recently in this area to visit our daughter. She chose highland Park bowl as an activity for the afternoon because my husband is a bowler. The bowling Center is located in an amazing vintage building. The name on the outside is barely visible because of the original peeling paint. The inside of this Center has rooms where they host different features such as open mic night, drag shows, live bands. They also have a kitchen with a giant pizza oven for fresh made pizzas. The area with the lanes themselves has two large bars and about 8 lanes. You rent the original ugly shoes and bowl on old wooden lanes with the house bowling balls that are chipped and make the bowling more challenging. The only updated feature are automatic scoring. We ordered cocktails while there and had a lot of fun bowling. There was a child's birthday party on the next lane and the kids were loving it. I highly recommend highland Park bowl for any bowler with a love of the kitsch from days past.

Called in advance to the bowling alley with friends, booked in advance. We arrived, the guard said that people had bought all the tracks and were playing at the moment. We waited 15 minutes, after which the administrator came and said that we would have to wait another hour and that they allegedly had all the tracks broken, except for the one that people play))) In addition to us, another 6-7 people arrived the same ..I understand that at such moments the institution does not care about customer focus, but still I will not come to this place again and will not advise my friends. All other establishments are already closed at this time and going back home for half an hour without playing is such an occupation.

Bowling! Their French fries are friggin’ awesome!

The Funnest Place To Have a party. The drinks were great, the whole vibe down to the architectural elements of the Historic Bowling Alley in Highland Park, CA. Call regarding post pandemic COVID Rules, for I Had to show proof of vaccination. great time, friendly staff and great appetizers too.

We traveled from Massachusetts to see this place up close and it didn’t disappoint. My son asked for a Dr. Pepper and it wasn’t on the menu so our waiter went next door and got one!! We were blown away by the atmosphere, the service staff and the neighborhood.

so cool- great atmosphere, pizza, wine, etc. loved it!!

Had a really good time here. It looks great in pictures, but even better in person. The drinks were really good too, as well as the food. A lot of good appetizers/finger food to eat in between turns. I went on a Thursday evening and it was a decent amount of people, but not overwhelming.
