Service was attentive, friendly and helpful. The General Manager came to our table multiple times and was so awesome. The food was fantastic - familiar favorites with a twist. The chicken karaage is a definite must, bone marrow and beef tongue were amazing. We throughly enjoyed ourselves and the view from patio is great.

We came here for lunch in the middle of the week for a birthday. Weâve never been here and wanted to try it. We really loved all the small plates and sharing that we did. We definitely had enough to eat and everything was delicious. Service was a little slow and few times they forgot to bring stuff, water, soda that was ordered, asked for extra napkins had to ask a couple times sort of thing. There were only two people on staff there however and they were about three or four tables total so they may have been overwhelmed. All in all I think it was a great experience. I would definitely go back. Try the short ribs!

HATCH is a really great secret in The Bloc! Every time I bring someone here they are surprised by the quality of the food and drink and that it's been right here the whole time! The minimal design may look low key and unassuming, but the food is well thought out and the flavors are on point!
