The business is very clean inside, and the fish is very fresh. It would be good to use a water hose on the side street, where customers park. You must step over more than a foot of urine to get to the sidewalk. Staff is great!!!
Customer service was bad. I ask to weight my fish and shrimps my pound .They refuse to do it,Cashier had attitude and said you will pay more if she did never attempt to put it on scale to be weight. No prices on the different type of fish and how much they are pound.Gauging Customer but I did math your price will be cheap if they weight your pieces. Overcharging the Customer with there system. Caught in the act. Don't be a fool . Quality of service is down and fish taste has changed.
I'm glad my daughter turned me onto this fish place. I enjoy the food and the service ?. I can get my food and eat it fresh and hot inside my car. The Catfish nuggets melts in your mouth. Yessssss they also except EBT. THANK YOU......
Best whiting I've had in LA. Coleslaw was a little too much juice, I would've have wanted a little more crunch. I'd advise you to call your order in because they're really busy. If you taste their fish you'll know why.
Called in my order at 6:40. It is now 7:43 and I am still waiting. When I ask what’s the hold up?? all I get is attitude and “it will be a few more minutes “ really?? Clearly the ownership has changed hands because the quality of this place has went down. Been eating here since I was a child. I am sadly disappointed and will not be called back.
i have been going to this place off and on for over 25 yrs. i always get the red snapper dinner. I have never been let down yet. the fish is flavorful and the fries are good. there are a lot of complaints about this place. some are due to a lack communication. a lot who do complain to them, dont know to communicate without yelling and cursing, and yet we want good things in our area. well Happy Fish Market IS ONE OF THOSE PLACES!! they been their for well over 30 yrs. this is why i gave them 5 stars!!
Will Not Eat There again! There is No Where To Park, their parking lot is Soooooo small, it's hard to turn around!!!!!!! They don't enforce people parking on the side, making it hard to get in and harder to get out!!!!!! Two small pieces of fish, costed over 5.00 dollars, and they had only Spanish Speaking people cooking the food, but they are located in a Black neighborhood. They sell butter, and other things, you don't see in a Fish Store. The fish, didn't taste good and I think, they needed to change the grease. won't tell a friend!!!!!
First time there today 4/7/22 & all the fish orders looked good! When you see people lined-up & out the door..all the way around the corner....you know its GOOD! Reasonable prices & very organized service! I will return! Ms. Bing
Family Fish Market has the freshest fried fish. Best to call in your order or you might have a little wait, busy place
Always great service the fish is cooked with love . Great tasting efficent service. Since opening Always keeps me coming back. Most have their own experiences. Yet once visited Always preferred.
