Pretty good. Fish battered and cooked to order and crispy. Some of The negative reviews are just dumb.. Its a fast food place, but people expect fresh fish? One reviewer comparing to to fish & chips in London? Give me a break
Some of the best clam chowder, fried shrimp a d fish I've ever had. Fries were actual fries and were perfect! So glad I found this place right off the wharf and way from all the birds noise.
Delicious Fish n Chips! The batter is made the traditional way. The food is made fresh by order. The portions are generous. My daughter and I shared one order and it was plenty to eat.Picnic tables are available for seating in front.This place is a nice addition to the Fisherman's Wharf eateries!
Nasty food and customers service. The fish was so hard like they kept frying the fish from two days ago, I couldn't even bite it. Like trying to eat rocks. No season at all. I try giving them the benefit of the doubt and go again. Always the same. I think they save yesterdays fish for black people only because I know that all those people that is always there is getting the same type of fish I receive almost every time I go there. Will not patronize this business at all again...
Visited here while there for the NSEA conference. My coworker recommended I eat here at least once before leaving.It was delicious and the people were so warm and welcoming.I love fried fish and shrimp and this was so worth every penny.
I was in the mood for In'N"Out Burger today.place was packed full of tourists, so I decided to came here for fish & chips instead.they are hot, fresh, delicate, flaky.pretty good.
Delicious sea food!! So fresh and perfectly cooked.The fries are amazing as well and the fish sticks (cod) are huge. An order of calamari is a pretty large portion, definitely shareable for 2 very hungry adults or up to 4 if you're eating some other things too.The dipping sauces are delicious
Finally made it here... Yes really good! We ordered the calamari for a snacky snack. The portion was big enough for the 3 of us; my niece's first time trying calamari so she did eat less ;)Crispy, not over breaded, good amount of spices, and squid tasted super fresh and with a little lemon on top, drool.
The fish was amazing with tasty batter and a decent portion. The regular fries lacked seasoning, but the garlic fries were tasty. Personally I like crispies fries, but if you do get fries, I would pay for the extra $1.50 to upgrade to garlic fries.
My favorite Chippie this side of the Atlantic. It's a great spot with quality ingredients, staff, and a classic space that just ... It feels lifted straight outta a pub in the West End near Camden Town.I could eat here every day! A definite treat for me and an absolute comfort food ☺️ I highly recommend the hush puppies too - they're fantastic!
