Not only was the food yummy, the service was top tier. Definitely a must try..
The peach cobbler waffle with the mama's magic butter is fire! The drinks were good. The French toast was also good. Will be a returning customer!
I had a chance to meet the Chef after she responded to my original review. The food was MUCH better. My grits were great (as I suspected they would be) and she made some adjustments to her fish recipe. She is also a one-woman show right now looking to build a team and get help. Regardless, the food was never bad as I mentioned, just some minor adjustments were needed.---------------Before I write this review, I’ll say that I was born and raised in Arkansas and catfish is literally what we are known for ( don’t believe me? Google it). So, with that being said, the food was overall good. I ordered catfish and grits and French toast. Here’s my breakdown:- The fish was fried to perfection, but the seasoning was lacking. It tasted like it was coated with cornmeal but it just wasn’t doing it for me. It was good, but it was just missing something. It wasn’t amazing.- Unfortunately, my grits were undercooked. They would’ve been good if it weren’t for that. The consistency was disappointing but I ate it because I was hungry.- The French toast was really good. It was a lot so I felt guilty and couldn’t eat it all.Lastly, the service was great. Food was hot, chef was nice and the food was prepared quickly.Overall, I would return. I’m proud of the owner for stepping out and doing this. I looked forward to returning and being able to update my review to a higher rating! Can’t wait for the brick and mortar.
Their food is so incredibly tasty! The grits with creole sauce is the best and should be tried by everyone. Wish there was a physical location or bar to dine in tho, other than that it’s perfect ?
Awesome customer service, the food was absolutely delicious, great flavors, presentation was amazing, great location, the food came out in a timely manner, this is a lovely place to enjoy a lovely meal
You MUST try the shrimp and grits with the Creole sauce, it's to die for! The sweet tea is proper, the waffles are excellent, there's not much more I can say! I can't wait for this to be a full restaurant.

Wow. Just wow ?? this food is sooo delicious! These pics are from my 2nd visit; I got the shrimp ? & gritz (of course) w/ the cajun cream sauce, the sweet vanilla bean waffle ? & a new menu item, the collard green dip & hot water cornbread. Never tasted anything like it! Needless to say, I will be retuning ?
I say all this as a Dallas native. The catfish? CORRECT. The shrimp + grits? It should be *illegal* for it to be that good, I tried it both ways they make it. I like that the lemonade is hand squeezed, and I LOVE the "celestial eggs". I might never make my own brunch again.
This picture does not do this EXQUISITE dish any justice. The Shrimp & Gritz were PHENOMENAL & the Celestial Eggs were absolutely HEAVENLY!!! Go! Grab a friend & Go! Grab a loved one & Go! Just GO!!!
