No pics even though I have eaten here probably 25 times in the past 10 years. The customer service is always great. The hostess and bartenders are my favorite I’ve grown to know them over the years. I highly recommend the mango margaritas they are also amazing. They are my go to spot for drink in the area and always a lively place guaranteed to run into someone you know here. Love this place.
I highly recommend the chicken enchiladas and strawberry margaritas! Really good food and friendly staff. We're staying at the hotel nexdoor. We've eaten here twice the past two days.
We've always had excellent food and service at The Green Onion. The environment is relaxed and friendly. Everything we've had on the menu has been excellent. I particularly like the 2 item combination with cheese enchilada and chili relleno and the Green Onion soft tacos. Their margaritas are great, too!!
Food is good, could be better. margaritas and micheladas are to die for, so good. The salsa that they give you with the chips is literally canned pato sauce with chopped veggies. IYKYK. Our server though, had the worst service. He was very aggressive and non friendly. Literally almost smacked my face with the to go box and didn’t even apologize, that was also broken btw. Had to wait to get a new one. Everyone else was super nice.

It was my first time here. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was SOOOO good. You can tell that this was not commercial chain restaurant food. This is authentic recipes And the green sauce was Not out of a can. Everything we ordered was so flavorful and good. And the drinks OMG ...bomb. Lastly everything was price reasonable nothing over the top. But the food was so good if it was a little bit more expensive I would have gladly paid it Can't wait for payday because I'm,.... We're going back
While we were at the bay we stopped by this Mexican restaurant it is definitely a great restaurant service was great food was delicious the restaurant was clean the bathrooms were clean we were treated very professionally and courteous most importantly with respect. The owner loves collection cars the little toys so I love them to one of the things that I loved he has a display of collection cars limited additions all throughout the restaurant.
We discovered this place by complete accident, and we were not disappointed. We were in LA for 5 nights and we ate here for 3 nights. We were greeted by a lovely lady at the reception, who remembered us and knew what we were going to order. We would highly recommend the Cadillac drink, it was divine. The staff here were really friendly and would ask if we were being seen when they saw us waiting for the food. The decor in the restaurant is unique and its lovely to see the history of the family who run and own the restaurant. Definitely a hidden gem. Would recommend everyone to go here if you are in the area.
When in San Pedro California you must eat at the Green Onion Mexican Restaurant. It is located on the Port and close to the USS Iowa and Cruise Ships. The restaurant serves popular Mexican dishes and pitchers of beer and marguerites. The table service is prompt and attentive. All dishes served with beans and rice. Complimentary chips and salsa are served after being seated.
Nice place great staff, service was excellent. We had drinks and ordered to go. The food was delicious. We'll definitely come back to this place every time in San Pedro.
