Really fantastic local coffee shop. They have incredible espresso, and also have really tasty specialty drinks.Their food is equally impressive, both breakfast sandwiches and breakfast burritos have been killer. I’ve been here more than I care to admit and they’re consistently good each time
Ordered their mushroom panini and it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. I believe they used brioche bread, which was a great addition to the sandwich. The sauce was the highlight as it added a lot of depth and flavor, alongside the sautéed mushrooms. Soooo good. Highly recommend.The place also has outdoor seating at the back of the place which is shared by a neighboring restaurant. A good place to study (if you bring earphones) as the music can be quite distracting.
At Good People in Brentwood/Santa Monica, you’ll always find good food, good people, and good coffee - both on service in their beverages AND in the retail bags you can brew at home.For brunch, tropic like it’s hot with the Brekkie Tiki Tacos. Their beef shoulder is slow cooked with plantains, and then added to a corn tortilla with scrambled cage free eggs, cilly sauce, and chipotle aisle - 3 savory, sweet, juicy tacos for $14.The staff is friendly, open-minded, and knowledgeable - the kind of people you want to chat with on a regular basis. Chuck runs the place extremely well, and he converted the back parking lot to a gigantic covered patio that allows for beautiful outdoor seating options for all.
Came during busy morning rush and they still had time to do the fun latte art on the top of my drink and got to chat with owner. Will come back again to continue convo and get another smiley guy.

Starbucks is only 2 blocks down.Good coffee. Yummy food. But, overall inconsistent . Beware if you are going for lunch order ahead they get busy at all times of day.***Update***They now have pre made food during the weekday.They are still terribly inconsistent. I ordered the most popular drink and got an expresso shot and warm milk. No syrup.I can't say I'll be excited to try again.
Trendy cafe with nice outdoor area and very good café for true coffee lovers! I like the cortado with almond milk.

The team is chill & lit. They cleverly repurpose a bong as a flower vase. Huge outdoor patio space in the back, split between the cafe/ restaurant.
Im from Australia and recently visited Good People (Numerous Times) on my trip to LA. I couldn’t stop going back. You can really taste the passion for Coffee in their drinks. This is probs due to they roast their beans IN HOUSE!!!!! ? Don’t worry you Matcha and Chai Lovers they haven’t forgotten you. ? What makes this place amazing is as soon as you walk in … you can feel the vibe already. This is not your typical “Coffee Shop” It’s coffee mixed with sass, bomb food and a guaranteed booty shake from the music ? The staff is well educated and the owner is very passionate about Coffee. Oh did I mention they have a full menu? They have something for everyone from Vegans to Ketosaurs ? This place isn’t “just a cafe” it’s a whole experience … I can’t wait to go back ? And Finally … BRING YOUR DOG!!!
