UPDATE 4/17/2022: Food is good but some dishes are lacking in flavor. The soup dumplings have a very thick wrapper and if you don’t get to them right away the soup is absorbed. The won ton soup offered at dim sum has no veggies other than green onions. The dumpling in the soup is a lovely shrimp flavor but the broth is a bit lacking. The har gow , shu mai, pot stickers, and shrimp roll (noodle) are all very good on taste and good portions. The red bean cake is like red beans inside a coconut flavored gelatin but I liked it, others did not. The mango pudding is very yummy with the milk on top. The custard tart is not rich (means it has egg white) but okay with a little too much flaky pastry for me. The sesame balls have red bean paste which is a tad grainy but good flavor. I like them to be a bit more on the crispy side (try Won Kok).Service was lacking today even though there were only 4 tables of people when we arrived.WARNING! They charge $1.60 per person for tea setting regardless of whether your entire party drinks tea or not.4/10/2022: Nice place for dim sum although they have eliminated the carts at this time. Long wait times about 1/2 hour or more. We made a reservation ahead of time but they lost it and wouldn’t seat us for 30 minutes. The place is old and has that old building smell but the food is good and most of it is very fresh. We tried the soup dumplings but there was no soup inside ours. The dumplings were dry.Service was also very good when you ask for something.TIP: 1) They have valet parking and metered street parking. Plan accordingly.2) Across the street is Phoenix Bakery (nice place for sweets instead of restaurant.)3) Alcoholic beverages are reasonably priced. Try the Scorpion Bowl for $7.95
Great dim sum, amazing service and fair price! Unfortunately they ran out of my favorite sweet rice cake, but everything we did get to order was great. So great I forgot to take pictures and went straight to eating. The rice noodles were soft but still held its shape. More importantly, the sauce was on point. The shrimp ball was also delicious. Super crispy and flavorful. Definitely will come back and try this again if I’m in the area.
As nice as the egg tarts may look, they're 88% tart and 12% egg custard -- I would avoid unless you need your fix of it. Fooled me twice because I forgot about the quality the first time around. Otherwise food is average.
Beyond Awesome customer service, the food was more than delicious. The waiter was really attentive polite, has a good sense of humor and made my experience really pleasant. The place is really clean, smells good and very appealing. The bathrooms are well kept. My party and I had Great dinning experience. Two thumbs up and champagne wishes.
In personal, this is a place not recommendation. The reason why that’s because the dim sums are too salty.1 star for easy have parking and 1 star for the staff who always have smile to service my table.
I haven't had Dim Sum for a while since we've had the pandemic years. My son wanted to treat me dim sum for my birthday. Unfortunately, our favorite restaurant is permanently closed (Ocean Seafood -- don't know why), so we had no choice to go to Golden Dragon Restaurant instead, however, I'm very disappointed because the quality of the food was under average, and very COLD dim sum. We had to order some more Chinese dishes such as stir-fried vegetables and fried rice were okay. On top of that, the wait is long including when you're already seated. The services are horrible!!! Waiters/waitresses didn't come to check to see how you're doing?! We asked them 4 times they didn't bring our glasses of water. We didn't ask for hot tea but he brought out a little pot of tea & 4 small cups threw them on our table without saying anything then charged us for it. Etc...still some more but I don't have enough space to lists them out. I'm not coming back and do not recommend trying.
Came here Monday for dimsum—overall the dishes were good, with the exception of the Xiao Long Bao which are soup dumplings but instead was dry, with no “soup”. Food came out fast too! The restaurant is huge, very spacious. There is a parking lot next to the restaurant so make sure you get your ticket validated for free parking.
Waited for 25 mins to have someone ask if we like a drink. Another 15 minutes to get our order. To pay it took 17 minutes eventhough there was a person in front. She didn't ask if we needed to pay? We had to ask her too take our money.
Authentic no thrill Chinese food with a large menu and affordable prices. I recommend the honey walnut shrimps, dim sum, green beans and Pepper beef. The ballroom style dining room accommodates large parties easily and parking can be found on the street.
The porridge is the best of all we ordered. Food is average. Service is ok consider the place is crowded on a Sunday public holiday.
