My wife and I went here for new years eve dinner.. The food and staff were amazing and this is one of those rare restaurants that's always consistent..
I used to love this place but I ordered delivery tonight and it was SO bad! My egg rolls weren’t burnt and greasy, the fried rice was over cooked and had way too much egg. Nothing was good and now my stomach hurts. So disappointing, I’m from the east coast and this was my favorite place in LA for Chinese food. Never again!
My favorite Chinese food in LA. Not authentic, it’s New York style Chinese food. Love sitting inside, great atmosphere. Don’t skip the egg rolls or Queen chicken
I cannot believe I’ve lived in Southern California for 5 years and only just had Genghis Cohen last night. When a friend mentioned the name I knew it had to be good. The delivery sealed the deal. Most solid Chinese food I’ve had since moving from NYC. I will be making frequent trips up from San Diego for this food. I might even move up to LA just to be closer. I am not joking. Looking forward to rocking the black and gold Genghis Cohen hat all over. Really life changing cuisine after being deprived of my favorite meal for years. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EXISTING!!!!! Genghis Cohen 4 L.
Very good New York Style Chinese Food. The only place in LA where I’ve gotten duck sauce. The egg rolls are spectacular. Cold sesame noodles.
Best egg rolls in LA. I’d be here every week if they weren’t 2 for $8.
Good food served fast. Very friendly waiter.
Probably the best Chinese food in the central LA area. Always consistent and BIG portions for the prices. I usually order take out but dining in is fun here. Very unique ambiance and the staff is pretty friendly.
The food is great but the customer service is bad. Drove an hr from Dtla in rush hr traffic to pick up my order to find that they’re out of the items I ordered and drove there for. I’m livid.
Public review reservations suggested staff was masked and polite. Came here for the Omni pork dishes absolutely worth getting them. We are not available on the menu you must ask for their selection.
