A bit of a mixed bag. It's nice to have all you can eat Korean BBQ on the westside. The price is great at $26, the meat is generally good, and it's always a jovial atmosphere.Unfortunately, the place seems to be really mismanaged. None of the fans are operational, so it's stuffy, even for KBBQ. They're always understaffed, so they're slow to flip tables (expect an hour wait!), you have to chase down waiters, and they often forget orders. Around 30 minutes before close (and they close early!), they start hassling you to leave.I'm not sure if it's a pro or a con, but they offer a steep discount (ahem, no taxes) if you pay with cash. All in all, it's fine if you don't want to make the trek to Ktown. With a few small changes, it could even be great.
Our favorite kbbq. Even we moved to the valley, we always go here at least one or twice a month. For me, this is better than kbbq in ktown. It’s always packed because its soo good. My favorite is beef belly, brisket and spareribs. I just hope they hire more people, i feel bad for the two servers - the mexican and korean ( not sure if he is the owner ) they are so busy attending so many customers but they are the best and try to accomodate you. 10 out 10! Totally recommend!
Strangely the only AYCE Korean BBQ in Culver City(?!?)…Meat selection is good, limited Korean sides. The establishment may be understaffed (?) so you have to wait a while before you can get a server back to the table. The thing is, though, they are good at changing the grills and they give you heaps of meat on the get go!Parking is a little bit tough because it’s shared eith many other businesses, there’s some street parking available, though!
Good price for ayce kbbq on the west side. $25.99 per person. Meat quality was lacking, and the main Korean server did a lot of things that were obviously trying to get us to leave faster. For example, turning the fire to the highest power every time he walked by, even though I kept turning it back down. Otherwise, the servers were really friendly and helpful.Note they do not have radish paper here.
Yummy yummy but always a busy place!
We (a group of 5) got here 2 hours ahead of closing. They they told us it was a roughly 45 minute wait (understandable waiting time, with ample time to eat). As we waited, more groups after us kept coming and continued signing up. An hour passes and a couple of groups of 2 and 3 who got there after us have all already been seated (we're a big group, so it's still understandable). At this point they tell us "heads up we're closing at 9PM" we tell them we've been waiting for an hour, he asks for our groups name, and and after we tell him he goes "OH!... right... one sec." During the next 30 minutes 2 other groups of 4 who got there WELL after we arrived were seated (they did not have a reservation. They signed the same waiting list we had) Once it was 8:30 they let in a group of 3 who had JUST gotten there, closed the door behind them, and turned the "OPEN" sign to "CLOSED" without telling us anything.I've only ever been here 1 other time, and admittedly, the food is delicious, but the service then was also lacking. They never came to ask us how we were doing and were very quick to get us and the tables around us to leave (we had gotten seated in the afternoon that day).If you are eating by yourself or a couple, again the food is great but service isn't. If you're a group of 4 or more, good luck, & prepare to be to be ignored.
Yummy seafood soon dubu - tofu soup. The soft the tofu soaks up the broth and makes it taste like seafood butter. Ordered it without spice for the kids. Kids loved it. Kids do not usually eat anything with tofu.
It's a small place , but has parking behind the restaurant, since this is located on a busy street, food is good, I enjoyed, with my friends
ok food, ok treatment, bad management.I already saw a post just like mine, but i just want to reinforce.BRING CASH ITS CHEAPERYOU MUST PAY A 20% TIP even if they dont serve you well or gave bad treatmentOverall youll pay around $32 which is not worththere food is well made but they give different size servings each time you order and will leave out additions to the orders like onions or greens without asking.the servers are busy all the time but they're fine being flagged down.the management (cashier) only lets you split the check with two cards and ive run into a stingy cashier multiple times
I have never made a rating before in my life but this place was so incredible that I had to. The bulgogi and bibimbap were SO flavorful and so so good.
