*Cash Only*Unfortunately I did not read the reviews before coming here. Once we ordered to dine-in, we realized it was cash only. We asked for the total ahead of time so my bf can run and pull money out the bank. They never did this. We ended up calculating it ourselves and grabbing cash to pay. When we got the bill, it was handwritten and illegible. I had to go to the register and ask for an itemized receipt so I could understand what we were being charged. I guess they don't do that so he had to call the waiter over to explain the charges.Apparently the drink size I ordered was not the one I was given so they were trying to overcharge the drink (even though I wasn't aware of this). Luckily the man at the register allowed the price that I assumed I would be paying since there was only one size listed on the menu.As for the food, the pizza was decent until towards the end we realized it got really soggy towards the middle of the pie. Very liquidy for some reason. The dough fell apart because of this which was a little gross feeling. The waiters service was OK by bare minimum but the man at the register who helped me with our bill was nice.Overall I thought the prices on the menu were great but I would clarify the prices next time before ordering.

This place has been consistently good over the years. The taste and portions for the price is good. They got rid of their fountain drinks which was very disappointing, but because their ice water tastes good I wouldn't remove a star over it. I never order soda if it is canned though.

Very rustic and modern at the same time. Really embodies the highland park spirit. Staff are polite and welcoming and speak English and Spanish very well which is amazing. The pizzas are worth coming back for as well as their pastrami sandwiches. Whether it's in dining or pick up. I highly recommend this restaurant for any pizza or pastrami lovers in the world.

CASH ONLY**My family started coming here since I was born, That’s a few decades ago.. ?.. I remembered eating here a lot as a child. Now that I have children of my own, and wanted to share memories of eating here with them…Somewhat disappointed on the food. My kids looked at me like: “extra on the hype”..??‍♀️. Just trying to be nostalgic..

Pizza is always good, crust is delicious. The Gnocchi was good, the sauce it came was a bit sweet for my taste. But over all great food and meal.

Best pizza I’ve had in a while! I loved the thin crust because it had a nice chew despite being thin crust. The service was super fast and I liked watching the staff stretch out the pizza dough through the window as I walked in. I got the cheese and chorizo and it was really tasty. Cash only so go to your bank or ATM before you arrive.

I've been a customer since the late 90s as a kid. The decor is really wonderful and nostalgic .The workers are multitaskers, hard working, and kind. The menu is small with very competitive prices that makes ordering quite easy. I already have my go to dishes and eat them each time. However, sometimes dishes can be a hit or miss each time, i.e. Italian sausages or pizza crust slightly undercooked or chicken in parmigiana overcooked and dry. It would be great if staff had more rigid duties or would be able to rotate every few hours, so that they would not be overwhelmed since one can only fit so many workers and diners in one small place, which would help with keeping the food more consistent. Overall, I'm happy to have Follieros as a go to for Italian since their tomato sauce and garlic bread, as well as their staff hospitality, keeps me coming back.

If you're going to somehow be Cash Only in 2022, please know how to count out change properly and have an ATM on-site. The food was not worth the hassle as it was the same quality as any pasta or pizza you could make at home with store-bought sauce, and the pizza is on par with Domino's. Also, not only did almost all staff wear their masks under their noses, the whole place had a Huntington Beach Basilico's vibe to it. There are too many other quality small-business pizza places with better service in this area to ever justify coming here again.

Every visit and every dish is consistently great! Customer service is as equally as wonderful. Eggplant Lasagna and Hawaiian pizza are my faves.

Picked up a large order of pizzas to go for a small get-together while visiting the Highland Park area. Ordered 7 large pizzas ranging from the Deluxe, Vegetarian, Margherita, and Cheese. Also, ordered a few Antipasto salads and Garlic breads. If you call, be ready to order as they're very busy and want to take your order quickly. However, they are very thorough in confirming your order, price, and estimated time. For my large order, they quoted 45 minutes which was exactly right as I arrived 45 minutes later as they were packing my last pizzas. As far as the pizzas, it's a classic Neapolitan pizza which you see them making by hand and cooking in the oven behind them. Pizza was large, thin, had a perfect charred crisp, and made with fresh ingredients. Pizza tasted just as good as it looked. I personally preferred the Deluxe, but all were equally as flavorful and consistently made. I can see why this has been a neighborhood favorite for many years.
