This is a very good option if you were in the mood for Persian food and you happen to be in West Los Angeles. Located on Westwood Boulevard, there is free parking nearby on side streets. As for the restaurant itself, the ambience is very pleasant and the staff was both courteous and attentive. We shared a boneless chicken breast kebab, accompanied by rice and salad. This is a large portion and more than enough for two adults. The chicken was delicious. We would return do you eat here again

eh it was ok at first for appetizer but the $40 shishlik had been precooked and recooked! Very dry. Worst of all, I was very thirsty and had to wait a full 20 minutes for a canned drink after asking for it twice. It wasn't busy. We also had to tolerate very attentive service to "doctor" sitting next to us, at our expense because i guess we are second class citizens because we didn't arrive with a doctor's uniform to a restaurant. They even got served before we did even though we arrived first, and they got the last serving of fish because they inappropriately ordered before we did, because he's in a doctor's uniform of course. That's boorish nonsense. Food was cold and drier by the time the drink I was desperately waiting for arrived. Even after realizing she had forgotten to bring the drinks, she still made us wait even more instead of running to the kitchen and getting another can. At $3 per can, (40 cents at the supermarket) you would expect some enthusiasm to keep the drinks flowing. Also it was very odd how server was glaring at us while I was entering banking and survey info about our visit. Also the payment machine forces you to pay at least 20% tip (huh?) while you are glared at, for service that is not worth 5%

Worst Kabob and bad service. The Kabob were cooked ahead of time and then warmed up and given to the customer. They taste awful with a strange red color. We returned our food and the manager told us if you don't like the food do not come here. Very rude restaurant manager with no customer service skills. This place is an embarrassment to Persian food and hospitality. Stay away.

Great customer service, great food with big portions.

Not a pleasant experience at all. Definitely over priced. Unfriendly staff, poor service. The payment process was inconvenient as the waitress seems to force you to pay 20% tip !!! The food was tasteless and not fresh. I don’t recommend this place.

Food was incredible,However service was not !

We had the special kabab platter with Chicken kabab, koobide and lamb chops. Nothing was marinated nor fresh. Totally not worth ordering again!I give two stars because of tahchin + gheime which was tasty. The service was also not impressive. The servers only came to our table twice when ordering and paying.

The waiter forgot to bring us water and when we asked for water again they never made it for us.The ghormesabzi was salty as well. Then we ended up with not paying any extra money(tip) for the poor service.

A good Iranian restaurant with excellent Halim. The weak point for this restaurant is that in the morning, especially on weekends, they open a shop at 11 o'clock, which is not pleasant for me because it prevents me from getting to the important things I do on weekends, so I rarely come here. That's why I rarely go here even though it has good food.

My friend and I we have been going to Farsi Cafe for the past few month every Friday . The food is fantastic and of course the service is even better , we are always greeted by “Nasrin” with a lovely smile and a warm welcome , she checks on us multiple times during our visit making sure in case we needed anything . Some of our favorite dishes. Are “ koobideh ( juicy ) Tahchin, Abgoosht , zeresh polo with chicken ?. Looking forward for our visit next Friday to try more dishes and be greeted by friendly Nasrin. support your local business and be kind to people that provide you good service
