Great spot! Indoor area and awesome back patio with a projector screen, tonight they had sports on, but the vibe of the place is Little Tokyo / DTLA vibes, not sports bar vibes. I got the Far Bar sushi roll that was filling and delicious with jalapeño and a special aioli on top. The servers were very attentive. The mezcal drink is so good that after people tried mine the rest of the party got one! They also have a late night menu. Must go! Reasonably priced as well.
Had "dinner" here tonight with some friends in the back courtyard. I ordered the pozole ramen and had the maneki tots in the meantime. 30 minutes later everyone had their meals except me. When we asked about my meal, we were told the pozole ramen might be sold out? They then just brought us our check and didn't offer any alternatives for my missing meal. So guess just tots for dinner... anyway I recommend you check on your food status ASAP bc you may never know when it will come out if at all.
Great atmosphere, comfortable, drinks are AMAZING!!! Staff are attentive, and courteous. Definitely will be returning!

I'm amazed that such great place is so affordable!! I was expecting it to be more expensive but was pleasantly surprised when I saw the menu ?. Our server was awesome and checked on us a good amount of times, which made it easy to continue ordering new things ?. The serving size was way bigger than expected for the prices! The only thing I didn't like were the house whiskeys since they were a bit too smokey for my taste. The shot + beer was a good change since I ordered the Far and Further, which had Japanese whiskey and beer. I would come here all the time if I lived here for sure!!!!
Popped in on a Saturday to watch the Bravos win the NLCS and I was thoroughly impressed with the bar staff and restaurant as a whole.Chicken wings are breaded, fried, and then seasoned to perfection. Cocktails are crafty and clean. You really couldn't ask for more.When the restaurant floor gets busy, the bar staff gets orders. The queue backed up as the night went on, but the bartenders still did their best to serve the folks sitting at the rail.The neighborhood is hippin' and hoppin' with excellent Japanese food, so competition is fierce. This spot holds up.
