EXCHANGE LA, is a throw back to the "Sunset Boulevard" night club scene. The expansive facility provides great sound and spectacular lighting.Opening in 1931, following the Great Depression of '29, the elegantly designed Los Angeles Stock Exchange projected the confidence California needed. Today, the marble and polished brass, and the expansive "trading floor" provides an upscale entertainment setting. As you would expect, the music is loud, with rich bass and a clean upper register. There is no distortion here. The four story building has lots of stairs and a backstage elevator. A large "skybox" offers an unobstructed view of the stage, and contains a private bar. (The backstage elevator transports VIPs and those with a handicap.)The bathrooms, located on the first floor, are large and wheelchair accessible.Cell phone and internet reception is poor, at least on Verizon.Check to see current COVID mask requirements. This is downtown LA so parking is expensive. If possible, take public transportation. The subway is fast, safe and offers inexpensive travel.

I typically don't like leaving negative reviews but this was the first time Ive ever really felt the need to. I just saw Phaseone which is modern dubstep artist thats heavily influenced by metalcore and went expecting to have a really fun time, mosh, headbang and make friends. Apparently moshing isn't allowed at this venue which okay cool thats fine, I get it, but you really shouldn't book an artist thats clearly going to have a lot of moshing going on. I still would have had a good time anyways but one of the security guards was being way too much. He would get to the point of putting people in a headlock and it wasn't anybody that was actually posing a threat to the crowd. He honestly made me feel unsafe and concerned for the people around me to the point that I felt it necessary to keep an eye on him. To the other security guards, thank you for what you do, you guys seemed chill enough, just doing your jobs. That one guy though, seriously need to chill out. Not sure I'll ever come back again

Do not go here. I've been living in LA for years, and to date, this is the absolute worst club I've ever been to. Someone stole my wallet within 20 minutes of getting to the club, and when I spoke to security, they accused me of being too drunk. Below average safety. Below average security. Below average crowd, they let thieves in there.

Awesome club with a spacious dancefloor, high quality sound system, friendly staff- both bouncers and bartenders. Good crowd, wish the clubs here didn’t close so early though!

Very small. The staff was pretty cool. I saw Armin Van Buuren there and it was way too packed for that big of a dj. All in all I still had a good time.

Everyone!! In just a week of trading with "Mathew Navas" , an expert trader, he helped me earn $10,500 in with a minimum investment of $800, it was quite unbelievable untill i withdraw my profits myself. you can reach out to him on WhatsApp now: +1 762-239-1392 / Email address: [email protected].com He is absolutely trustworthy

Very good place to party had fun this Sunday I was live with the one and only Sven Vath. One of the world's best.

If you can get past the security in front it is a good venue. They can kick you out for any reason they see fit. Been to the venue multiple times but I have always been met with rudeness from security staff. I was turned away even after thry was suggested I upgrade to VIP to secure entry. Our group complied with their wait time twice leading to a delay of 2 hours after we arrived at 10pm. Would not recommend until yjry obtain new front working staff

You would expect "the best club in LA", according to the horrific personnel a the entrance, to have better educated, polite and cordial staff. This is by far, a very unwelcoming place, which unless an absolute Major dj would play, I would never, ever, consider going back to this un-classy, unfriendly, overated place. My goodness, with so many great options, Exchange LA occupies the last place. we left and hada blast at Sound in Hollywood. By the way, the only reason I went last night to Exchange was Cosmic gate.

The bouncers in this venue are incompetent. I took my partner to go see Henry Fong on 29 January, 2022. We were in the front were so many drunk fools were tumbling, dropping drinks, bumping into people and acting like idiots. The bouncers would walk by and wouldn’t patrol properly.
