The dining experience was 10/10. From the kind security guy at the door to the flawless service we’ve experienced at the patio. The single burger was the most precise burger I’ve tasted, so simple so good! The micheladas are a must!
The food is very salty - good with beer but probably not good for your health. My favorite to not favorite part in sequence 1) lobster bread (slightly sweet), 2) chili (good with crispy bacon bits, 3) hot dog (super salty - not edible by itself).
This is the type of bar that does the typical DTLA bartender scam. Before being seated for the watch party Super Bowl, an attendee must have a card on tab to keep the table.End of the night comes and our waitress claims we never provided a debit card (even though a card needed to be held in order to reserve a table). The waitress then states that it was our fault for 1.) not providing the credit card. 2.) losing it.After 30 minutes of the waitresses supposedly looking for the credit card that was “never provided” and “lost” by our party, the owner comes to us and tells us the credit card was found on the floor. Again, the inconsiderate staff here assumes you’re too lit to remember that you’ve provided them a card. DTLA waiters do this to double charge, up-tip, and mess with your bill with the pretense that they “never received a card”. This establishment has to be the least trustworthy restaurant I have patron in a very long time.SLEEZY, CHEAP, and SCAMMING bartenders. Be aware!
First time I've ever liked food in a bar. Nice aura, good music, clean place, friendly staff and fast service. 10/10 would recommend
Look, before Everson Royce Bar was my bar, Tempest was my bar; I'm a dive bar kind of dude at heart, and I appreciate a $2 draft PBR more than most. If I'm having a drink with an old friend or wanna sip whiskey by myself, I'm still going to Tempest. But if I want to meet a social or professional contact or go on a date? It's gonna be Everson Royce Bar every single time. Sure, it's a little pricey, but the decor is beautiful, the staff are all amazing, the music is great, and the drink selection has yet to disappoint.
Cute date spot in LA or intimate group outing destination. Dark ambiance, pleasing music from the DJ, friendly staff. Different quarters, seating selections, at the bar, off to the sides, behind wine decor. Some of the wall artwork was lackluster, but overall worked for the trendy, loungey setting.
One of my favorite spots in the Arts District. A long time favorite for good cocktails, good bar food, and great conversations.
We needed a quick drink and bite before a show in the Arts District and ERB did not dissapoint! The bar food menu was elevated and deliciously executed! The potato taquitos were so good we had to order a second plate! The portions are not huge and the prices are reasonable so you can share several items and really experience the creative spin on their options! The oatmeal chocolate chip cookie was delicious! It was a Saturday at 5:30 and it was bustling out on the enclosed patio, which has a lively ambiance! We had great service from everyone from security, hosting, servers, to management. The cocktails looked amazing, so I will definitely be back to try some of those offerings next time!
Dope vibes on a Friday night: good drink selection + great staff. If you're outside, the patio can get very loud, however, so be aware. But definitely worth a visit if you're in the Arts District.
We had a birthday party for 11 here on the outdoor patio and it was perfect. Great drinks, service, and ambiance. Excellent location for an outdoor celebration. Eclectic drink menu with good wines and beers. And convenient on-site parking. Overall, I highly recommend it!
