Second time coming here. Happy hour is a little confusing because there are different... Waves? Of happy hour where 4-5 are 1$ oysters but after that it's 2$? Yeah a little weird especially not having that rule the first time we were here but w/e we got the dozen and tried their pork belly which was divine
Good ol’ days are gone. The Happy Hour that everyone raved about changed drastically as of mid-June 2022. The $1 oysters 5-8 are now $2 (only $1 from 4-5). The Happy Hour menu has also gotten smaller.Unfortunate as we just found this place and were excited. I understand vendor prices have gone up but tough as a patron to swallow a 100% increase. Great staff—but the loss of the extra special Happy Hour means we likely won’t go as much.
Oysters were very good and our drinks were fantastic. The atmosphere is very laid back and we were told they have live Jazz four nights per week. We will definitely go back!
Best oyster deal in town! Drinks are excellent, and unique. My go-to is The Penultimate Word, highly recommend.
$1 oysters from 5pm to 8pm on weekdays and also happy hour. The oysters are delicious
$1 oysters are the bomb! Decent prices for happy hours and very good cocktails. A staple in the neighborhood.

Our power was out....my wife and I decided to go to the city. We went to the Press Club and could not have been happier! We barely caught the happy hour special.....our server, Meena, was awesome! Our wine decisions begin and end with red or white but Meena helped us. You will not find a better wine list this side of the Mississippi....;?).... we shared our second bottle with our newest friends and it was a good as the first!....I highly recommend visiting the Press Club....and just going with Meena's recommendations on wine!
