Great indian food! Went at 5pm and were the only people there so service was quick. Had the chicken tikka masala with rice and enjoyed it. Street parking at meters out front.
I agree with the other reviewers that this food isn't authentic and that it's low in spices. There's still some flavor but it's clear with the spice level and their odd (quirky?) menu explanations that they are trying to appeal to Americans with weak palettes. Thus if you are curious about Indian food but struggle to handle the spices, this might be a good starter place for you. But for people looking for authentic Indian cuisine - look elsewhere. The waiter was very nice though and attentive. No sound barrier between kitchen and restaurant means that you can hear the chef(s) clattering about, which is a little weird.Playlist could be better too. It's too boring/moody and doesn't fit the atmosphere. If you want to appeal to young Americans then play some Indian pop songs.
We were greeted promptly and given a table in the back where you sit at low tables on cushions. Fun for my daughter, but not that comfy for me. They happily moved us to another regular table. The ambiance was fun, good food and great service.
Fun experience. Back room has floor pillow seating. Everything on the menu is good.
I cannot express how much I love this restaurant!!!! The food is amazing and everyone who works here is so kind and makes the experience that much better. Truly is an experience coming here. I frequent this establishment so often. If you’re looking for amazing Indian food, or looking to try for your first time this is the place. I promise you won’t regret it!!!!! SO AMAZING!! 11/10!!
10/10 EVERY TIME!!! I’m so happy I walked in one day I come at least twice a week now because the food, service and prices are that good!!! Electric Karma is truly a 3rd street treasure and deserves to be recognized not only for their stellar hospitality but their menu. Their is something for everyone!!
Passable Indian food, somewhat lacking in spice. Service efficient and staff nice. Indoor and outdoor seating. All expected items on the menu. Parking can be really hard to find in this area during dinner times. You can give it a try but there are a lot of other Indian places in LA.
We went for Mother’s Day everything was yummy!! Service was great and I love the floor seating patio ❤️
Absolutely LOVE Electric Karma. Great Vegan dishes too! The patio is perfect :) Highly recommend!!!
The food wasn't authentic Indian food. Not at all spicy.
