The food is authentic and delicious! I also love the service. Iris is so friendly and sweet. She made sure that we had everything we needed at all times. The decorations are so vibrant and fun! I love coming to El Papayote with my family and friends. We always have a great time!
They have the best pupusas aroundGood size and well stuffed. They a great variety of dishes in their menu.I most definitely recommend this place.
Crepes are really flavorful although consistency is a bit off. The pupusas were served colder than expected makings them taste a little grainy. Now the chicharron pupusas were so greasy that we ran out of napkins. Horchata and ensalada were really really good. Overall a mediocre experience but willing to try something else next time

We arrived at 6:45pm and we waited for a few minutes to be seated once the waitress took us to our table she warned us that there was an 1 hour wait time which I was a little surprised but we agreed to the wait time. Once the promised hour went by I went to check on our order and they told me a few minutes later that it was going to be another 15 minutes. The first order was dropped off exactly an hour and 15 minutes, the second one 10 minutes after that and the last order was dropped off 15 minutes later. Our whole order was delivered to us after a total of an hour and 30 minutes. This was our first time visiting the place and the last one.
