Probably the only real authentic Cuban food left in LA county. Now they are not by any means perfect. But compared to the other trash called Cuban food El Colmao takes the cake. They still have Cuban workers which help since it is Cuban food. Any time someone asks me for a Cuban restaurant recommendation I send them here. If you can't make it to El Colmao for Cuban food... Just wait till you can to avoid a sour taste in your mouth from imitation Cuban restaurants. Great way to tell if they are Cuban is to ask them about Che Guevara, if they idolize him they aren't Cuban. Ask the people here and you might get kicked out?

The menu overwhelmed me! I didn't know what to choose I wouldn't come here ever again! The avocado "salad" isn't a salad! They took my menu without asking me if I was done with the menu!!!!
I wonder if the owners know the employee closeThe restaurant hours early? I’ve ordered three times in the past month and picked up my order around 7 PM today when I called they said that they have been closing at 6 PM for a year. This either means that they have stayed open without the owners knowledge or they have closed early without the owners knowledge not to mention that all information on all websites yelp Google and any other food service says they are open till 8:30 PM
I know this place since the 80's great to eat, excellen food, portions, and prices.
