This place is such a gem! I had such an amazing experience. The waitres was sweet, knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations. I had the carne con papas and platano fritos, it was a huge portion and delicious. My husband had the rabo. I highly recommend this place. Is cozy, it makes you feel like abuelas house. I will be returning....
Came in for a Cuban sandwich and was given baloney and yellow cheese. After being told that's what a Cuban sandwich looks like the waitress finally admitted they ran out of pork and ham along with swiss cheese. Non Cuban waitress telling a Cuban what a Cuban sandwich is. They had made me a Mexican "torta cubana" which is not Cuban. Sadly this place has lost its authenticity and respect. Unless you are ok with Mexican food disguised as Cuban food avoid it. Like all childhood favorite Cuban restaurants this one has gone down the drain. This place is expensive trash not worth it.
The El Cubano was very good. Order to go but it was delicious and very authentic in my experience. Will definitely be back and will leave a more thorough review.
Delicious food with a lot of flavor you don’t usually get in LA. Plus really friendly staff! The atmosphere was lovely but the lights were soo bright for dinner.
Cubano sandwich is the best one I've ever had. Delicious maduros, tostones (the garlic sauce tho!) and lechon pork too. Cute outdoor seating. Reservations recommended.
Good food for reasonable prices. Definitely worth a stop to get some variety. Tried both the cubano and the cochinito and both were delicious. Friendly service and they let us sit even though they were closing in ten minutes. I wish I’d gotten dessert, but I’ll be sure to get some next time!
Fantastic food. Less spicy than expected, but excellent flavours and delicate overtones. I may have gained 2lbs.
