Been going here for years and loved the place. They recently did changes for the menu like removing 2/3 of the items like fries and hamburgers. My thoughts on this is that they have change it due to low sellout.
Best pupusas n los Angeles and better than any other salvi restaurant ive ever been too.even beats most pupuserias from El salvador.if ur looking for pupusas gotta try this place out .
Okay this food is amazing. They have almost everything you could want from El Salvador, and it tastes legit too.I'm not giving 5 stars though... just because the waiters gave us a hard time about paying separate bills. I don't know... is this an American thing to not do that? Because it seemed to be such a huge deal when we asked it. We got huge attitude from the waiters - like we had asked them to have the meal for free or something
Most of the employees have a bad attitude. Bugs flying inside the restaurant. 20 to 30 minutes wait for the food turn into 1 hour wait for 4 popusas only and the other plate another 20 minutes. This place use to be ok not no more. Over rated
I order through Uber eats at 10:50 am and my order didn’t come in until after 1 pmNot because of the drivers, because the restaurant were backed up on orders. This I know because I called to check on my order and why it was delayed.I understand sometimes there’s delays but 2 hours?That’s unbelievable, that it took them that amount of time to prepare an order.
I enjoy trying authentic international food from all over the world; however, I also like to receive great service from the person who's serving the food. The waitress was very unfriendly, demanded for us to pay first even when they allow people to seat and dine in and then pay your bill later . Also, the only time we saw her was when she took our order and when she brought the food to our table. I felt like not leaving a tip, but I did it anyway even though she didn't earn it.
They take too long to bring food, because their priorities are take out orders. The waiter was very rude. There was a hair in my food which I saw it when I was almost done and the waiter said why are you telling me until now? Instead apologizing for it.Never again...
This place was great! Nice staff. Very delicious food. I got platanos and they were so good.
Delicious authentic Salvadorian food, good prices I order a beef soup Delicious.
I had the El Buen Gusto breakfast and was not impressed. The chorizo was really dry, to the point that it almost looked dehydrated. The casamiento tasted like it was a few days old or if it had been reheated several times. Service was just OK. One positive was easy access to parking.
