Good Food!!! This restaurant lived up to its name, Delicious. The greens, black eyed peas, smothered ox tails, and cornbread were mouth watering good. I will be returning to try more of Delicious Southern Cuisine.

Stole Marlyns recipes, stole them and opened their own restaurant. I always say to the people of color!!! STOP HAVING THEM COOK YOUR FOOD, THEY LEARN, STEAL IT AND SELL IT!!! Do you see us working in the kitchen at a Mexican restaurant!!!!???

I’m not gonna lie I’m thoroughly impressed! I spent $50 on door dash because I was craving soul food. I usually go to granny’s in south central (also 10/10).But this restaurant can definitely compete with Grannys! My food came secured and packaged. Everything wrapped perfectly and still had some heat to it. The oxtails were fatty and delicious. I was worried about the yams because they didn’t have much drip to them but when I took a bite….I started drooling. Absolute heaven! Delicious is an understatement! 10/10 worth every penny!!!

Worst soul food I have ever had. I spent close to $100 for meals for 3 people (short ribs dinner plate, turkey leg dinner plate, gumbo, and some sides and dessert (which they conveniently forgot to include with our order) and - across the board - everything was nasty, low quality, sloppily prepared and just didn't taste fresh or good. The mac n cheese was a slimy mix of some velveeta type cheese concoction and mushy way overcooked noodles. Ugh. Just thinking about it is making my stomach turn all over again. The only decent thing we got was the greens. The gumbo looked to have been frozen and was lumpy and full of bone fragments and chicken bones - there was no roux... it was like a slimy gravy - what the heck??? This cannot be black-owned and/or operated and whomever is cooking doesn't have a lick of soul in 'em.

I stumbled across this restaurant while visiting California sadly I was asking individuals in the surrounding area about good restaurants and nobody mentioned this spot. The staff was very professional, restaurant was clean and they had plenty to choose from on the menu. This isn’t a dine in restaurant however there’s a few tables outside. The okra soup was delicious. I would recommend the bake chicken, sweet potatoes and black-eyed peas. I tried the lemon cake and banana pudding. I wasn’t crazy about the banana pudding but I’m from the south we make ours in the oven. The food was good however my family would’ve preferred more seasoning.

Food was amazing. I had the smothered pork chops, yams, mac and cheese. The pork chops were falling off the bone tender, the mac was perfectly cheesy and the yams were hitting! I'd suggest anyone to visit this restaurant. Also the ladies that worked there, were really friendly and service was great!

Smothered chicken with rice n gravy was as good as Sylvia's in Harlem. Red beans, greens, sweet potatoes, cabbage, green beans were all excellent.

I'd give them five stars except for a few things. 1. I didn't get my two pieces of cornbread.2. I couldn't eat that amazing looking smothered pork chops. The reason being it has garlic and I'm highly allergic.3. Please include ingredients listed in each dish. So I can order food i can eat.

good food and great customer service I most definitely take that hour drive .

Great food and Good Service
