We had a really nice dinner. Steaks were amazing. Service was incredible. Was also pretty empty so felt safer Covid-wise.
We had 3 reasons to celebrate: a birthday, a promotion, and an improvement in health status for a high risk, chronically ill member of our family. We requested to be seated at a table that is somewhat isolated from others. We wanted to minimize exposure for our high risk family member that had a lot to celebrate. We understand itâs never a guarantee. But they were very accommodating to our request. The staff was professional and efficient. The server was great. The food was amazing as always. This will always be our go to spot for birthdays and special occasions.
We were practically first in the restaurant for a 5pm seating and had asked on OpenTable for a nice booth. Hostess brought us upstairs to a table and we had to ask for a nice booth by the window which was granted. Not a good start. Our waiter disappeared on us 3 times leading to a 3 hour long dinner and the place was empty. Each time we tried to get the attention of management but callus neither flag another waiter and had trouble flagging a busboy even though there was either diners. Final straw was the waiter brought us our bill and we asked him âwhere is the dessert we ordered to which he replied âthey didnât bring it?â The butter cake was delivered cold as it had been sitting and well that was that. Ask for a managerâ liked the food, loved the ambiance, but the service was unbelievably bad for this caliber of a restaurant.
After a great dinner we ordered 2 glasses of Louis XIII. Unfortunately they completely failed, not only on the proper glass, but on the presentation of the beverage.
Birthday celebration
The service was really bad, our waitress hardly came to our table trying to get out waters refilled was ridiculous and then out bill took forever to come. Our party was disappointed.
Best food. Best service. Will be back.
My family of 5 visited Del Frisco's for lunch on Sunday and we were very disappointed. Our food was tasteless and steaks were cooked incorrectly. Three of our five steaks needed to be sent back to the kitchen for more cooking. Our server was also the bartender which meant that our service was not the best. We had to ask several times for our dessert to be brought out, and had to leave the room we were seated in to find our server multiple times. For how expensive the food is, it is disappointing to have this experience here. Overall, we were not impressed and will not be back.
Chris was my waiter, and he was very friendly, and inviting! Ordered the 22 oz. ribeye, broiled 1lb Alaskan crabs, small corn and smallLobster Macaroni. All was delicious! Great experience!
I wish I would have known the dining room is closed for lunch. We were seated at a less than optimal table in the bar. No waiter, so the bartender took our order. Predictably, the order came out wrong â I asked for no butter or toppings on the baked potato, just sour cream and chives on the side ⦠so, it arrived drenched in butter. As for the sour cream on the side â for that we were charged extra. The bartender offered to re-submit the order, but we were unwilling to wait an additional twenty minutes. I had to get up from the table twice; once to get a straw for my Diet Coke, and once to request a refill. I asked for a cheeseburger with Swiss or Provolone cheese ⦠it arrived with Cheddar. It also arrived with a mere thimble of ketchup ⦠I asked for a couple of additional thimbles twice and, finally, after I was halfway through with my meal, they arrived on a ridiculously oversized presentation platter. The bread for the table arrived after we had been seated for twenty-five minutes ⦠no time to enjoy it before our meal service appeared. With service like that, thereâs no chance this over-priced, pretentious steakhouse survives in Los Angeles.
