I just discovered this Gem in May 2022!The environment is so peaceful, the chef is so humble and the vibe was wonderful! Most importantly the food is delicious! I am a on and off vegan for 3 years this journey is not easy! The fried shrimp PO Boy sandwich is absolutely amazing! Flavor! Flavor! Flavor! I highly recommend this place! There is also a very beautiful hostess with a beautiful smile! Thank you Crystal soul Cafe!
The food is so tasty and delicious, my children loved it too!! I have been vegetarian for 23 years and vegan for 14 years this summer and this is the best restaurant I have ate at ever!! Well seasoned, Excellent customer service, Beautiful Plants & Crystals everywhere! Lovely spiritual books to read while waiting for your food, as well as cool music and Beautiful blooming flowers playing on the T.V. screen. The ambience is unmatched, the owners have geniusly created a magical oasis, with such uplifting energy!!! Congratulations on a job well done!!! We are excited to come back and try some more healthy yummy food, this is true Soul Food... we had the truffle chicken sandwich with fries and some magical tea, that I can't remember the name of but its for vibrational alignment and emotional healing. I feel like all of the positive vegans here in the hood, our prayers was answered, we manifested bomb vegan food restaurant owned by Beautiful people!
When I say this place is amazing from when you walk into the Cafe if the beautiful plants and humidifiers don't relax you the smell of the food surly will. I walked in on a pick up order and wanted to just eat there. The lasagna is amazing the owners and chiefs are friendly and welcoming I will definitely be going back. Don't forget the dessert the strawberry crumb is so yummy...
Let me start by saying-I’m not vegan. The chef here truly is a master!! I have vegan family members and have had vegan food before. It’s pretty good. But this place is truly special. I could easily go vegan if I had this everyday-And I love meat! The menu is so diverse and surprisingly affordable! The atmosphere is full of beautiful foliage and has great energy. This is a great choice for a healthy dinner option that actually is satisfying. The service and staff (Romeo and Faith), went above and beyond to make us welcome and tantalize our tastebuds, leaving us wanting more! I highly recommend their burger and juices. The cherry juice concoction was out of this world!! And the burger was the best I’ve had by far?I can’t wait to go back again!!
This place is spectacular, the food, the service is in my opinion what all businesses should aspire to. Mind you when we first arrived we had to wait a bit, but that's because its on the smaller side and its not their fault and is to be expected, especially when there is delicious food involved. All of the people in the party loved and raved over the food, vegan and non-vegan alike and the kids loved the service and all of the plants surrounding us, they kept making growling noises, and saying "look I am a flower!" We will definitely be back everytime we are in town to support this small business, thank you Crystal's Soul Cafe for your delicious food and your wonderful hospitality like service!
What a wonderful vegan restaurant! Finally Compton has an amazing option ?? . I went here with my nonvegan brother and mom and they both loved it! Not pictured here is one of the best vegan burgers I ever tasted, the truffle burger which my brother declared was one of the best burgers he has ever had in general. The seasoning and flavor was so amazing and I will definitely be trying to replicate it at home, the fries were also amazing, just wish they were included with the burger and not as an added side.The soul plate and BBQ plate was also amazing! Lots of delicious sides.If you are looking for an amazing plant-based restaurant definitely don't miss out!
To start. I drove an hour and a half from DT La to this vegan spot because the reviews were SO good! I ordered ahead of time as suggested and showed up not really knowing where the restaurant was but I saw plants and a tiny restaurant with about 15 people in line at 630p on Saturday. I informed the kind hostess I wanted a table and she said even though I ordered ahead I had to wait in line. So if you order ahead make sure you tell them you will dining in. She was sweet enough to put seats outside so I could eat. Let’s just say that hour and half drive was SO worth it! I’ve never had vegan food taste so darn good! I felt like it was a spiritual experience. I absolutely loved all the plants and the care the chef took when cooking. Yes it was a wait but if you are in a hurry this place wasn’t made for you. I ordered the shrimp po bo and shrimp platter! It was SO good and the cornbread was to die for! The macaroni was a bit greasy but I loved the coconut flavor and the lobster was incredible! My friend who is not vegan kept asking if the food was vegan because it was so close to the texture of seafood! He said he actually liked the shrimp better than regular shrimp! The cabbage!! Ohhhhh the cabbage!! Was sooooooo amazing!!!The peach cobbler was heavenly and I will definitely be making the drive again to hopefully try the lasagna! Just wow! So much better than all the fancy vegan restaurants in La..made with so much love and you can taste and feel it! The most adorable check out guy (I think a teenager) and just a beautiful experience!
Upon entering, this place aesthetically was pleasing. That was about it. Employee taking our order almost seemed to be discouraging us to order. She said it would be 25-35 min. We had somewhere to be in like an hr and 45 min, so we decided to wait. After an hr, I go inside to ask what the status is on our order, and she looked as though she had seen a ghost. She goes into the kitchen, comes back and tells me that the wait was 45-hr and there was still 20 min left to wait. She lied about our order time, my friend's credit card time stamp is all the eveidence we needed. We were super late to our event, with empty stomachs. They literally ruined our day. We could have gone to Del Taco, but I wanted to try something different, and more importantly support a local business. 1 of the worst decisions I've ever made.

I absolutely LOVE this place!!!!! The staff was super friendly and the food was ethereal. I will most definitely be returning and next time we’re bringing the crew!!
