Visited on 7.16.2022, Court Cafe always seem busy especially the weekends and wanted to try it out. My niece is the one who choose to come here we came the weekend before but they had closed the waiting list down it was around 2ish on a Sunday. Overall I like that it's black owned. Food was okay nothing says I have to come here again however I blame that on the temperature of the food it was luke warm. I build my own omelet and had waffle. Give them a try and form your own opinion .
I’ve been wanting to try this place out for month. I finally went today for lunch and order the chicken and waffles. This has to be the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had! The chicken was so rich in flavor and the waffles were so fluffy. Haze (I hope I’m spelling her name right) was an amazing waitress, she had such a positive attitude and was very helpful. 10/10 would come again!

Experienced a 2 hour wait before food was brought out on Mother’s Day. Reservation was 1:45 and the food came out at 3:45. They had a large Mother’s Day party being served so I assume this was the delay. Going forward they should work on being able to serve all guests in a timely manner regardless of party size.

Well I found this spot on Instagram so it's only right I come see the hype. Our waitress was extremely lovely. I believe her name was Ra-ra. The food was okay. The service from walking in umm im not sold. The young lady was balancing way more then probably required. She was pretty mediocre from the greet, no eye contact, busy on her phone(maybe taking phone orders), cashing someone out, and speaking to another employee. Wait wasn't TOO bad. So fast forward to table and being seated cool. Area was okay I believe the location of this restaurant does no justice. Maybe should consider being relocated. Anyways, we sat at table numbers. So the lady from the door advised us of our 2 numbers and WE proceeded that way.(We didn't follow anyone) We placed our orders after an hour wait 3 different drinks completed I begin to questioned our food. Well Ra-ra made her way to our table and said "I apologize but it will be an hour or so for your food because they ran out of food." ??? so im like how do yall run out of food? She said " well they have to go pick up the food but it will be some time." So my family said "what do you have back there" she said "let me check." She returns like "well its more so items from the bakery. Yet, it will be still and hour wait. So, do yall still want it?" My husband like we cool. ? not even 2 mins later she came back with our dishes and ask what we would like to substitute for our French toast....Let's just say I'm still confused. The orange juice was sweet oddly. My dish was small unsure why I didn't have a bigger plate. My family enjoy the meal ill rate it for like a 7. Until next time.
The customer service here was amazing my waitress/server was the best hands down ! Her name was Tee, it was my first time here for my birthday and I enjoyed it ! Next time I will reserve their secret birthday room it has a section with a mini photo shoot! The chicken and waffles was delicious I feel in love with the chicken the most ! 10/10 must try again , oh the tower mimosa got me faded too !
Great, food was very good and everyone from the host, waiters, and waitresses were all good people and keep a smile on their faces, ready to assist you!
Overall the food was amazing!!! 5 for that! ? however there are a few concerns. myself and a few other customers sat at the bar. It had come to our attention that this area could have been more cleaner, I watch several times where the associate Working the bar, didn’t wash her hands or use the sanitation area that is provided. We also saw that there were unclean wine glasses next to prepared drinks the area for other customers, also the bar wasn’t properly wiped down,before the staff sat us down at the bar. The menus were sticky not clean I noticed that ice cream was left out which should have been put away right after use. It got so bad to where the people at the bar finally said something. Now the bar girl was very nice and understood our concerns. Which eve thing going on I think it’s important to follow all code guidelines and safety!! Of herself and others. This was my first time going to your establishment. So I was a bit concerned to witness this amongst others but I hope that this area of the establishment gets better. My suggestion is to clean consistently throughout the day if it’s used get rid of it, if you use it put it away once your done using. However a great place to enjoy some amazing food! ?
