I got there at 11pm on a Saturday evening. I waited for a 30mins. He still wasn’t there. I used to go every other day but nowadays he seems to be a primadonna, which is shocking. They don’t seem to think they have a proper time for work or to show up even when there’s a bunch of people waiting for them in line.
I have been looking for the best Elote (street corn) in Los Angeles, and I was extremely surprise with this GEM!We arrived around 11PM and had to wait in line until 1AM - I could not believe it (next time Ill bring some chairs). It was super cool to see the relationship they have built with the community, as I could clearly tell there were many frequent clients. We ordered corn in a cup and the cop with all the topping - SO TASTY! Worth the wait and the timing.I will be taking people from out of town so they can try this Elote!Heads-up: the google maps locations takes you to the corner of the street. You need to cross the street and go to the parking lot.
Worth the wait, but be ready for a wait! I recomend getting it on the cob rather than in a bowl. It just taste better trust! Also, Hella affordable!
El Don and his family, EL MERO, MERO, THE CORN MAN! Get there early, he starts serving at 11:pm, yes, 11PM! So delicious, must try once, you will get hooked. Go support this hard working family and friends. Rain or shine they are there!

Cheap, delicious, and absolutely worth the late hour! Corn was hot and crisp with a heavy amount of toppings. So good!
Fully loaded mexican corn or esquite! Bomb af!
My girlfriend asked me to take her where they make the food in front of her, after she tasted the corn here she wanted to get engaged ??♂️
