Japanese Curry
(310) 479-1333

Japanese curry chain with customizable spice levels. Free garage parking available. Credit cards accepted. Came here on a Friday night for dinner and got seated immediately (it was around 7pm). Indoor dining available as is takeout. The curry sauce is thick and flavorful. You can choose what level of spice you’d like; I went for a 6 and I think I personally could’ve gone higher. They do have mild options. Vegetarian options are available. The portion sizes are generous and you can get two servings from a plate. The employees were nice and the atmosphere is casual.

CoCo Ichibanya is one of my favorite LA restaurants. Their curry packs a ton of flavor without being to heavy and goes perfectly with their chicken cutlet. I usually add mushrooms to the curry as well but the are plenty of options available. Make sure to get one of their Naan to soak up every last drop of the curry!

Cozy and relaxed Japanese-styled diner with a myriad of familiar yet delicious toppings and tasty curry spinoffs.Comes with consistently courteous staff, clean environment, and comfortable pricingA great idea for a simple meal, get-togethers, or just something different for your day.

Got the pork cutlet omelette and found it decent. The pork was great but the omelette was very thin and the curry was a little watery for me. I love Japanese curry so my standards might have been too high. Overall a good experience.

Ordered a chicken cutlet pizza, it always comes pre sliced. After pulling over I noticed it wasn't cut and the utensils as requested were missing. Kinda hard to eat an uncut pizza withoututensils. By the time I got back through traffic, it was soggy so I asked to make a new one cut like it always is. They remake it and it's the same exact thing except utensils were included this time. 1 hour wasted. The past year this place has gone down hill on quality. This is a common now among other places due to increase in food cost and labor, they don't seem to care but want to keep increasing the prices

So delicious ?Sadly not vegan (milk, cheese, honey) so I will probably never come back. Le sigh.If that’s not a problem for you, highly recommend croquettes & garlic naan is just incredible with curry.

Delicious food. Great service. Very hygienic and thorough covid practices

I had the Chicken Katsu at spice level 4; it was delicious, great flavor, nice heat, and crispy crust.Note: Free parking garage with entrance next to the Ross.

I liked the option of curry spiciness and specifying amount of rice. Packaging for take outs were nice as it separated the curry sauce from the rice and the pork / chicken katsu (fried pork / chicken cutlet).

Love Japanese Curry. Fills a soulful need when it’s cold out.
