Food was delicious. Was nice being a large group so we could share everything and sample a lot of the menu offerings.
Kitchen staff way more friendly than FOH. Marcelo was awesome and talked to us since we were seating right in front of him. FOH staff more interested in each other than guests at the restaurant. Somm Snobby and short with his answers. We went next door to Mozza to drink some wine afterwards, I ordered 3 different bottles all of them out of stock. Sat at the bar for 45 minutes without a glass of water in front of us and waited for wines that were never delivered. You love to brag about your previous Somms on your list as if that makes your list better. I am just thinking no one is taking care of this wine program. Good luck, not coming back.
Great choices, service on point, a little loud to hold a conversation and tables too close, but still had a great time.

My sonâs 37th birthday . The entire experience was the best I have had in LA. The staff was all friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The veal tongue was so flavorful and tender. The bone marrow pie with beef cheeks and mushrooms was off the charts- the pie crust flaky and buttery! My lamb chops were perfectly seasoned and grilled. We loved sitting at the counter watching the chefs grill and prepare the food. You could tell the staff loved their jobs and all got along. Will definitely come backâ¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
Third time we have been to chi Spacca as a family. There was no air conditioning and its an open kitchen format, so we were HOT! Food was good and there is a terrific selection of wine. We will not be rushing back unless we are able to secure a noisy outside spot on Melrose so as to not sweat our way through your meal.
